Naraku's devious plan

After Sesshomaru went to talk to Totosai,Kohaku was completely vulnerable  to Naraku. As he feared Naraku did attack him. But as he tried to take his shard away a light emerged from the shard and pushed Naraku back. That was kikyo's light which was still in the Kohaku's shard. Inuyahsa and others sensed Naraku's presence. Inuyahsa told everyone that Naraku is after Kohaku as he is not with sesshomaru right now. They rushed to help him but Byakuya,one of Naraku's incarnation,interfered. As they fought inuyasha asked sango to go help Kohaku. Keiji went with her.
Elsewhere Naraku tried to manipulate Kohaku...he made him move his hands to decapitate himself. Soon sango came and pinned kohaku to ground. She attacked Naraku with her hiraikotsu. Keiji then attacked Naraku with her katana. That was the first time Naraku saw Keiji.
"She is a priestess!!! How could I never noticed her before??" He thought to himself.
Keiji then chanted some mantras that made Naraku suffer even more. Inuyahsa and others came just in time and saved Kohaku.
"I have to keep an eye on that priestess." Naraku thought to himself as he fled the scene.

Kohaku told everyone about what happened when Naraku tried to take his shard. It means there's still light in his shard from kikyo and they still have some hope. Sango was really happy that they were able to save kohaku. Sango got up and thanked Keiji.
"I am glad to help you sango." She replied smiling.
"Lady keiji....how are you??" Rin came and hugged Keiji.
"I am fine Rin ...you and master Jaken didn't get hurt during the fight...did you??" She asked worryingly.
"We all are fine....thanks to you and Sango."
"Rin could you come with me for a moment?"
"Sure." She followed Keiji.
"How's Sesshomaru doing?? Last time when I saw him he was really upset after knowing the truth behind tenseiga's existence."
"He has become even more quiet then usual. I don't know where he is now. He will be fine I know that. He is very strong both mentally and physically." She replied with a smile.
"Hmmmm....I wish it was as simple as she thought it is. Where are you Sesshomaru??"Keiji thought to herself as she stroked Rin's hair.

Somewhere else Sesshomaru was standing near a shore. He watched as waves crashed on the shore. He saw byakuya and immediately launched meido zangetsuha on him. He dodged it. "I have a gift for you. I know about the tenseiga ...how it's just a unwanted sword." He said taunting Sesshomaru. He attacked byakuya again with his meido.. "Shatter it and sprinkle it on your blade and see how it works." Byakuya disappeared saying that,leaving a glass piece behind.

Sesshomaru did as he was instructed. He went to challenge inuyasha. He asked him to draw his sword which inuyasha refused. Soon,to everyone's shock, tenseiga transformed into tessaiga. It was all part of Naraku's plan. He wanted both the brothers to take each other's life. But Sesshomaru knew it from the beginning that it was a trap. He just wanted to see if inuyasha is capable of wielding tessaiga and using meido zangetsuha. Inuyasha finally learned why Sesshomaru attacked him. In the end Sesshomaru deliberately smashed tenseiga on tessaiga so that it could reabsorb the technique it once discarded.
After the battle Sesshomaru left tenseiga. Totosai insisted him to take the sword with him but he refused. Keiji came forward and picked up tenseiga and gave it Rin and asked her to give it to him when he was in a good mood. Sesshomaru watched all this from the corner of his eye.
"It's gonna be ok Sesshomaru....I know it will. Stay strong." Keiji said loudly as Sesshomaru was waking away. He slightly smiled at Keiji's actions and walked away.
"That was really weird Keiji. Yelling all that motivational thing and all. Don't act so stupid." Inuyahsa came near keiji and spoke angrily.
"Inuyahsa sit!!" Kagome yelled from behind.
"Do you want to tell me something Keiji?" Kagome asked Keiji as she knew something was going on with her.
"Kagome it's just....I ...just ...it's nothing really. Don't worry about me." Keiji didn't say anything. It was really hard for her to explain her feelings towards sesshomaru to anyone.
"Let fate decide." She thought.
