Down the distant road....

Part 1- introduction

Keiji Akiyama- she is in the same class as kagome. She is a Japanese but is new to Japan. She was living in Australia since the day she was born. But she always wanted to live in Japan. After much persuasion,her parents agreed to send her to Japan but only on one condition...she won't get any money or support from her family...it was an attempt of her parents to stop her from going there. But she agreed. She is tall 5'8"....slim...long black hair...and shiny black eyes...her skin is fair...she is very kind and loves to help others. 
               She was the only child of her parents and they were very protective of her, to the limit that they used to put many restrictions on her. Keiji felt as if her freedom was being snatched away from her. So she made a decision to live in Japan. Their family business won't allow her parents to leave Australia so that was a perfect opportunity to live without her parents....and without any restrictions...

             She was enrolled in the same school as kagome. She and kagome instantly became friends. Keiji was worried about getting the job and house for rent. Kagome asked her to live at her house. But keiji rejected The offer because she didn't want to put a burden on others. Kagome asked her to work at the shrine as a payback. She agreed.

Keiji got a room at kagome's house. She started working at the shrine. She helped grandpa in taking care of the shrine. She was really happy there. Even kagome was happy to have a friend like her. After some hesitation kagome told her about her secret about the well and her connection to feudal era. She told her about inuyasha and her little group of friends. Keiji was totally shocked. She thought kagome was trying to pull a trick. But it was soon going to get clear.....
