*Katie’s POV*

We drove almost two hours and then finally arrived at the house. It was a humungous cabin in Rhode Island that we could walk to the beach from. The girls, the guys, and I would always go camping or to a beach house every month when we were dating. That hasn’t happened for over 6 months.

“Say what? Where are we? I’m liking this already,” Bobby commented. “Do you SEE that house?”

I smirked. This plan was going absolutely great so far. I looked back in my rearview mirror at Jayk and saw him smiling as he looked out of the window. Then he turned and faced the front, noticing me. He smiled. I bit my lip and opened up my door, stepping out of the truck. Everybody stood in the parking lot taking in the humungous log cabin. It was truly beautiful.

“Okay, let’s unpack the trucks!” Ashlee optimistically said.

We all helped grab some suitcases from the cars and brought them into the house. The front door opened up to reveal a huge living room. We dropped the suitcases and looked around the room we’d set foot in.

“Can everyone sit down please?” Michelle asked.

We sat down on the couches and chairs and diverted our attention to her.

“We got the biggest cabin we could, but this one is only meant to hold 10 people. There are 5 rooms with 2 beds in each,” she explained.

I smirked. We’d set up this whole thing just so we’d get to sleep in the same bed as our boyfriends. We could’ve gotten the same size cabin except with 10 rooms that had 2 beds in each.

“So we assigned everyone a room. Ashley, José, myself and Chris are in the first room. Dominique, Justin, Brittany and AG are in the second one. Angel, David, Ashlee and TC are in the third.  Katie, Jayk, Holly and Drew are in number four and then in the last which is on the top floor are Bobby, Renee, Vicky and Thomas. It’s up to you to choose what the sleeping arrangements are,” she continued. “Okay, feel free to roam around and unpack. Have fun. We have stuff planned for tomorrow. Today we’re just chilling here.”

I grabbed my bags and walked up the stairs finding our room, the fourth one. Holly, Drew and Jayk met me up there and stood in the doorway not knowing what to do.

“To make this simpler, why don’t I just ask you? Who’s sleeping with whom?” I questioned.

Drew and Jayk looked at one another and shrugged their shoulders as if they were talking to each other.

“Jayk and I’ll sleep together,” Drew answered and I frowned. That was NOT the answer I was looking for.

“Dude this is going to be super awkward. I swear to god, if you hit me once while you’re sleeping, I’m going to strangle you in your sleep,” Jayk joked.

Holly and I laughed. We both knew there was no possibility of Drew being still while he was sleeping. This was going to be an interesting night.

*Middle of the night*

I woke up when I heard Jayk yell ow. I sat up in bed and watched him get out of his bed. He looked at me and said, “This is the third time he’s hit me! Get Holly up and tell her to sleep with Drew. I’m not going to deal with this anymore.”

I laughed and woke Holly up. After I told her what to do, she slowly made her way over to Drew’s bed and fell down on it. The moment she hit the bed, she fell asleep.

Jayk lay down next to me and whispered, “Goodnight Kit Kat.”

I smiled. He used my nickname. “Goodnight Jayk,” I replied and turned the other way so I wasn’t facing him. Next thing I knew, I was asleep again.

*Vicky’s POV*

I woke up to the sun shining through the one and only window we had in the room. I turned on my other side and came face to face with Thomas’ sleeping body. I smiled as I looked at him. It was nice to have him by my side and to be close to him even if we weren’t dating at the moment. I quietly and softly turned to get out of the bed and placed my feet on the floor. I tip toed out of the room and down the stairs to the kitchen. I grabbed the milk from the fridge, poured a cup and sat down at the table alone, enjoying the beginning of a peaceful and warm morning. Then Thomas walked in. He picked up a water bottle and sat down next to me.

“You’re up early,” he told me.

“Yep,” I plainly replied and took a sip from my cup. I didn’t know what to say to him. “So are you.”

“Well, you kind of woke me up. I know you were trying to get out of bed gently and quietly, but I’m a light sleeper. You knew that.”

I took a deep breath. “Oh, I guess I forgot,” I played dumb.

He moved his hand from his side of the table to the top of my open hand. He stroked the back of mine with his thumb and his touch sent shivers down my spine. I pulled my hand away and put it on my lap. There was no way I was forgiving him that easily. He’d told me to my face that he didn’t trust me. He smiled at me and looked me in the eyes. Tears began to form at the corners of my eyes and I tried to hold it back, but once one of them let go, all of them did. I set my glass down on the table and ran out the back door to the backyard. I sat down on the grass near the water and cried. I needed to stop this. I shouldn’t be crying. We were here for a reason, to change our boyfriends and to get them back.

I felt an arm wrap around my waist and looked over at the person. Of course I knew it was Thomas. I snuggled closer and sobbed into his shoulder. He wrapped his other arm around me and held me until I was finished. I pulled away and looked at him. He inched closer and touched his lips to mine. It felt good to kiss him, but I knew I shouldn’t be doing it. I got up from the ground and walked into the house without saying a word to him at all. I found Angel and David cooking breakfast.

“Oh my god, are you TRYING to burn down the house?” I asked Angel, referring to her letting David cook.

“Don’t worry, I’m here with him. He can’t burn the house down while I’m watching and helping. It’s pretty much impossible. Y’all know I’m a good cook,” she replied with a laugh.

“Alright, I trust you. Just try to be safe. I don’t trust him in the kitchen,” I giggled and walked upstairs to change.

When I came downstairs, everybody was either sitting in the kitchen or the living room eating. I grabbed a plate of food and sat down on the couch. Thomas sat next to me and snaked his arm around my waist. I moved away and sat on the other side of the couch. Everybody watched as the cycle continued. He would move closer, I would move away.

Finally I just got tired of it and went upstairs to our room. I lay down on my side on my bed and watched as he appeared at the door. I sighed and rolled my eyes, ignoring him completely. He sat down on the edge of our bed. I could feel him watching me from behind.

“Vicks, what did I do? Can you at least tell me?” he asked.

I turned around to face him and didn’t say anything while I looked at him. He looked the same to me as he did when we were together. Just the way his bright blue eyes sparkled and how he’d flip his hair out of the way when it got in his eyes. I couldn’t help but smile.

“What?” he questioned with a smile on his face.

“Nothing,” I responded and turned around again to face the other way. “You want to know what you did. Like I’ve said a million times before, you let the fame get to you. You transformed and became the complete opposite. And then what you said…it hurt. It hurt to think and hear that my boyfriend of all people didn’t even trust me.”

“I was being as @$$whole. I didn’t mean for it to be this way Vicky. I, I can change.”

“No Thomas, at this point, I don’t think you can. And I don’t trust you at the moment. The reason we brought you guys here was to take you away from everything and to get you to realize your mistakes. If you’ve changed by the end of this trip, then maybe I’ll forgive you. Right now I won’t.”

I got up and walked back downstairs. I could tell everybody was wondering what had happened but there was no chance I was going to tell them.
