*Kevin’s POV*

Since the moment she walked in, I couldn’t stop thinking about her. I hadn’t said one word to the girl and it was like she dominated my thoughts all of a sudden.

Then she walked out and she looked really upset. Her cheeks were all red and her eyes were puffy. She walked into the kitchen and I went after her. I found her washing her face in the sink.

“Are you okay?” I asked.

She turned off the water, wiped her face with some paper towels and then looked at me.

“Yeah, I’m fine. Thanks for asking,” she replied with a gorgeous smile.

“You don’t look fine. Come on, you can tell me. I’m Kevin by the way,” I said, stepping close and leaning on the counter.

“I’m Tonya. Nice to meet you,” she said and shook my hand. “Anyways, we came here to tell Emma that our parents died three days ago in a car accident. I’m still upset about it of course.”

“I’m sorry for your loss. Do you need a hug?”

She smiled. “A hug would be nice.”

I held open my arms and she walked into them. We hugged and I pulled away after a little while so it wouldn’t seem too awkward.

“Feel better?” I questioned.

“A little bit. Thanks Kevin. You’re a good guy,” she said and patted my shoulder before walking into the other room.

I guess I made a little progress? Who even knows? Hopefully I’d be seeing more of her and hopefully she’d give me a chance as more than a friend? I just met her, how was I supposed to know if she would accept me?

*Kim’s POV*

I cuddled up next to V on the couch and he wrapped his arm around my waist.

“How’d it go?” he asked me,

“Not too well. She didn’t take it very well. But that blonde kid took her away from us to calm her down,” I told him.

“Oh, Dougie. He’s a good guy. Your sister is in good hands,” he explained. “And you, you’re in good hands also. As you already know.”

I smiled and leaned my head on his chest. He kissed me on the top of the head and kept talking to his friends. I just sat there listening and taking everything in. At least my sisters and my boyfriend knew what I was going through. Hopefully everyone else here would be nice about it also. They seemed like a cool crowd.

*The next day – Ashlee’s POV*

For the rest of the night last night, the three sisters got to know us and told us their real reason for being here. I felt horrible. Nobody should have to go through that when they were so young. I was already in a bad enough mood when they told me. My relationship with TC was still haunting my mind. I wanted to be with him so bad, but I was doubtful that he would ever forgive me. Maybe I could still try to get him back?

I looked over at him and he saw me staring.

He mouthed, “What?”

“Can I talk to you?” I mouthed back.

He nodded and got up, walking somewhere. Not knowing where we were going to have this talk, I just followed him. He ended up bringing me to our bedroom, which he hadn’t been sleeping in since our argument. I sat down on the bed as he continued to stare at me. I knew he was looking for me to start the conversation.
