As soon as Olivia had made it through the door, Jessie ran at her, bombarding her with questions.
"What happened? Did you kiss? Was their music good? What're the other people in the band like?"
Olivia laughed as her friend dragged her through their house, onto the balcony again.
"So, tell me everything" Jessie cheered.

"He was a right gentleman, he walked me to the door this evening, but no we didn't kiss. His band was great as well, they're all really good. There's George, Adam and Ross. I reckon you'd like George!" Olivia giggled slightly, then rolled her eyes at herself and groaned.
"God, I'm being such a cliché" Olivia complained, and Jessie nodded in agreement, which just added to her annoyance.
"Well, sounds like you got yourself a good one babe" Jessie smirked. "And tell me more about this George lad" Jessie let out a high-pitched giggle, like that of a young girl's.
"He's tall and handsome, he's got great muscles too, and he's amazing on the drums! Real sweetheart too!" Olivia winked playfully, feeling like she was ten years old again, when her and Jessie would sit in the tree at the back of her childhood house and giggle about their crushes, planning each other's marriages and childrens' names. At the time it had felt realistic, but now that all felt scary and overwhelming.
"Sounds gorgeous, when will I be introduced?" Jessie nudged Olivia playfully.
"Oh come on Jess! I just met the bloke" Olivia rolled her eyes, and threw her head back in frustration, although she was laughing and grinning widely.
"But you two are gonna fall in love, get married and have absolutely gorgeous kids"
Olivia's stomach flipped, and she felt her heart begin to pound painfully, feeling like it was going to burst through her skin and leap out.
"Yeah..." She laughed nervously "... Totally"
"You alright? You seem super anxious all of a sudden?" Jessie leaned in to Olivia, taking her hand in her own and rubbing it soothingly.
"Yeah, fine" Olivia smiled tightly.
After a few moments of uncomfortable silence, Olivia finally stood up, sighing to herself as she brushed a slight layer of dust off of her trousers, walking back into their house and into her room, leaving Jessie alone on the balcony in the warm summer evening breeze.
