"W...What?" Olivia stuttered, tightening her grip on Jessie as her heart began to pound.

"They say he'll be okay... he's stable" Jessie continued, but her body kept shaking with sobs.

Olivia knew she had to comfort her friend, but it took her a few minutes to come up with a complete sentence. "Well, Doctors wouldn't lie if they didn't think he was going to be okay, so he will definitely be okay. Besides, you know James a lot better than I do, but even I can tell you that James is a fighter. He'll pull through. Especially with a great sister like you, we can get the train down to see him tomorrow, I'm sure seeing you will cheer him up and even speed up his recovery" She eventually spoke, rubbing her best friend's back soothingly.

"Yeah, you're right. You're right, he's James, he'll be okay!" Jessie forced a grin and Olivia nodded and high-fived her. "Now, I should probably clean myself up, its 6:55, Matty will be here in five" Jessie winked at Olivia.

"We don't have to go if you don't want to Jess..." Olivia said cautiously.

"No, I want to go, it'll take my mind off of it until we can go see him tomorrow" Jessie smiled, pulling a leather jacket over her dress. "Come on, that'll be him now" She laughed as there was a knock on the door.
The two ran down the stairs, not so gracefully, and Jessie managed to trip over too. This meant that when Olivia opened the door for Matty, the pair were laughing hysterically.

"Um... is everything okay?" Matty laughed softly.

"Yeah, sorry - she tripped and... yeah, I don't know" Olivia chuckled, smoothing down her outfit.

"Ah. So, are you guys ready?" Matty smiled kindly, offering his arm for Olivia jokingly.

"Of course, kind sir" Olivia joked, taking his arm and walking with him, leaving Jessie to lock the door and walk behind them. Jessie, of course, took a few photos of them as they were looking a lot like a couple.

"The venue is this bar in town, it's like a ten minute drive away from here" Matty explained as they all climbed into his car; Olivia sat in the front with Matty.

"Awe, nice. I loved you guys' music, I can't wait to hear it again" Olivia grinned happily. To this, Matty dug out a CD from somewhere beside his seat and stuck it in the car's stereo. A song that Olivia hadn't heard before began playing, but she could recognise that it was Matty's band, The 1975.

"This song is called Facedown, it's off of one of our EPs" Matty grinned proudly as Olivia and Jessie danced along to the music.

"It's amazing!" Olivia beamed, leaning forwards to turn up the music. After a short drive, they pulled up outside a small pub, which had a few cars parked up outside and walls that were crumbling slightly. Matty lead the girls to the door, and to a table near the front of the room, where there was a few microphone stands and a drum kit set up.

"I'll get you ladies some drinks, on me" Matty winked, before wandering slowly over to the bar.

"He's nice" Jessie smirked and pointed to behind the drum kit, where the boy that Olivia recognised as George was bent down, sorting out a pile of paper.

"That's George" Olivia chuckled, and soon enough, Matty came back over, carrying two mojitos.

"Nice choice of drinks there, Matty" Olivia grinned, "thank you so much"

"You're welcome, love. I've got to go 'round the back where the lads are, but I'll catch you after yeah? Give you a lift home" Matty waved as he dodged in between tables to get to the back where there was a small door, before quickly disappearing through it.
After a while, the boys came out and stood at the front of the now rather full pub. George took his seat behind the drum kit while Matty, Adam and Ross stood behind the microphone stands, each holding their instrument.

"Hello, I'm Matty and we are The 1975" Matty spoke into the microphone before they began to play a song that Olivia had remembered was called 'The City'. The night went by too quickly, as the boys played a few songs and the audience danced and cheered, Olivia and Jessie being the most excited. Before long, they all said their goodbyes and headed back through the small door at the back, so Olivia and Jessie decided to follow.

"You were amazing" Olivia grinned as the two burst through the door. All the boys laughed and thanked her, before inviting her and Jessie to stay for a drink with them.
