Kickoff For Mario

Mario showed us his strategy. Here is what it looks like for his batting lineup:

1. Mario
2. Blue Noki
3. Blue Pianta
4. Purple Toad, known as Mailtoad
5. Red/Pink Pianta
6. Red Noki
7. Toadette
8. Green Noki
9. Yellow Pianta

Mario's outfielders was Blue Noki on the left, Blue Pianta in the center, and Mailtoad on the right. Mario was the pitcher, Red Noki was third baseman, Green Noki was first baseman, Red Pianta was second baseman, Yellow Pianta is catcher, and Toadette was shortstop. Bowser Jr. showed Mario outs and we were ready.

Lakiteu held out a coin. "Call it in the air!" He flipped the coin.

"Tails!" Bowaer Jr. shouted.

"Heads." Mario bats first.

"Cool." Mario said, grabbing his bat. He ran to home plate.

"Eh... could be worse." Bowser Jr. said. "I could be batting first. Good thing I'm pitching first."

"I'm pitching!" Boomerang reminded Junior.

"Whatever." Junior grabbed his glove and went to center. Everyone got into position.

"Start game!" Lakitieu, the empire, yelled.

"Woohoo, yo ho!" Boomerang spun on his head for a moment. Geez, what a showoff...

He popped onto his feet and threw a fastball. Mario missed it.

"Strike one!"

Boomerang then threw a curveball that went way inside. Mario didn't swing.

"Ball!"

He threw another fastball, and Mario missed again.

"Strike two!"

He threw another fastball, and Mario swung his bat and hit it, but didn't move as the ball went foul.

"Foul ball!"

Boomerang threw another fastball that Mario didn't expect and he missed it.

"Strike three! Your out!" Lakiteu called.

"Yeah hoo!" Boomerang cheered.

It went like that for a while. I almost scored a home run, but was stopped by a buddy jump from Blue Pianta and Mailtoad, getting me out, but we also shut out their homeruns with Junior and Kamek working together. It was all good until a certain evil returned...
