The sound of her ringing phone woke her up from her sleep. Lauren groaned in annoyance as she grabbed her covers and brought them up to cover her face. The raven haired girl couldn't sleep all night. So she decided to get some work done.

She did a bit of research and studied the blueprints of school campus. She wasn't as gifted as Kaycee or Lucy but she was good with a computer. She worked until her eyes couldn't take it. By that time, it was 4 in the morning. So she decided it wad best to get some sleep, or at least try to.

Lauren pulled the covers off when she realized that her phone wouldn't stop ringing until she answers the call. Reluctantly, the green eyed girl reached out and grabbed her phone and answered the call.

"What?" Lauren said in annoyance.

"Hello to you too," Lucy said through the phone.

Back in the command centre, Lucy sat in her spinning chair as she talked to Lauren using her wireless headset. Since her partner in the field was on an undercover mission and she had cleared all her cases, the girl had nothing to do. So instead, she decided to check in with her best friend.

"What's gotten you so grumpy in the morning?" Lucy asked.

"I couldn't sleep last night," Lauren said as she sat up and rubbed her sleepy eyes before letting out a yawn.

"Ah, I see."

"Yeah but nothing a big cup of coffee can't fix," Lauren said as she got out of bed and headed to the closet.

"So how's the mission? Found her yet?"

"Lucy, it's been a day. Finding her is like finding a needle in a hay stack."

Lucy chuckled, "So I've heard," she said as she stood up and walked out of the command centre.

The two talked for a bit before they were interrupted by a knock on the door. Lauren hung up the call to answer the door. As the door opened, she found a tall, dark skinned girl behind it.

"Hey, you must be Lauren," she said as she extended her hand out, "I'm Normani, your new roommate."

Lauren gave her a polite smile as she shook her hand, "Nice to meet you," she said as she took her hand back, "I hope you don't mind... I already picked a side."

"Fine by me," Normani said as she walked in and placed her suitcase on the untouched bed.

"You heading out?"

"Yeah," Lauren said as she nodded, "Places to go, people to see."

"I'll let you get settled in," Lauren said as she gave Normani a small wave before walking out of the dorm room.

Lauren walked around campus as she observed everyone around her. There were a lot of brown eyed brunettes there. The mission was starting to look like mission impossible or something. The research Lauren did the day before actually helped. Everything she had gathered, it all leads to the brown eyed brunette she met on her first day; Camila.

"Hey Lauren!"

The raven haired girl turned around and saw the brunette walking towards her.

Speak of the devil, Lauren thought to herself as she gave the brunette a smile.

"Whatcha doing?"

"Recon," Lauren said with a shrug.

"Ooh, who are you scoping out?" Camila asked.

"I'm categorizing it," Lauren said as she looked around, "People to avoid, people who are safe to talk to, people who seems dangerous and can kick your ass, and annoyingly bratty bitches."
