Her hands shook while her mind ran rampant. She was having a hard time processing what had happened. She didn't even want to believe it.

Lauren ran her hands through her hair as she dropped her head down. The team was still in the van and they were en route to a new safe house. But the journey was long and it gave the raven haired girl way too much time to think.

"Lauren? Baby, are you okay?" Camila asked as she placed a comforting hand on the girl's back.

"I don't believe it," Lauren mumbled, "It can't be true."

"Lauren, sweetie, look at me," Camila said as she brought Lauren's hands down. The green eyed girl slowly looked up and met Camila's gaze. The brunette's heart ached when she saw Lauren's tear stained cheeks and puffy red eyes.

"What did you see?" the brunette asked.

"I saw her," Lauren said, "She came out of the building. She was with them!"

"Who? Who did you see?"

"Lucy," she said. Camila's face fell. Lauren looked so distraught. The brunette almost didn't want to tell her the truth.

"Lauren, listen to me," Camila said, taking Lauren's hand in hers, "You should know, better than anyone, that in this line of work..."

"When you think you know someone... You don't... At least, not really," Camila said.

"What are you talking about?" Lauren asked, "Are you saying that you knew?"

"I'll explain everything to you when we get to the safe house, okay?"

Lauren thought about it and eventually agreed with a nod of the head.

When they got to the safe house, Dinah and Red swept the place for any bugs or unwanted guests. Once it was clear, they gave the signal and the others walked in.

Camila was still nursing her wounded shoulder while Cassie helped a distraught Lauren in. The adrenaline had worn off and the green eyed girl was feeling the effects of the experiment. Cassie set her down on the couch before she tended to Camila's wound.

"So, you a doctor too or something?" Camila asked as Cassie dug the bullet out of her shoulder. The brunette let out a breath as she endured the pain.

"Something like that," Cassie said with a light chuckle. The blonde began cleaning the wound.

"I had medical training," she said, "I just never finished."

Camila looked at her curiously, "Why not?"

"Even though I'm basically a genius-"

Camila scoffed.

"There's only so much knowledge I can take in such a short time," said the blonde.

Cassie picked up a sterilized needle with a thread and began sowing the wound shut.

"I couldn't finish because I got caught for my... Interesting hobby," Cassie told her.

"You mean hacking?" Camila asked with an amused face. Cassie chuckled.

"Anyways, Red saved me from getting thrown into jail by recruiting me instead. She needed my help to get out of the Organization and I did just that."

"Been underground ever since," she said.

"Well, until that day in the hospital," she said as she cut the thread and placed a gauze over the closed wound and wrapped a bandage over it.

"All done," Cassie said with a warm smile.

Camila gave her a smile before she walked back to where Lauren was. The raven haired girl was agitated. The brunette tapped her shoulder lightly and the girl jumped. It took her a while to realize where she was and who she was with. Lauren let out a sigh of relief when she saw that it was Camila.
