Headache. Ow. "Mmmnnnn..." Alice let out a low groan. "Ughh.." She touched her head. It hurt. Fuzzy. Unclear. Alice slowly pried open her groggy eyes. Too bright. Eugh. Go back to sleep.
"Mmmm darling bring me a cup of water will ya.."
What. What. Wait. Wh-
"-At?!" Alice bolted straight up. She didn't recognize that voice. Where the fucking shit was she? She looked around, fully panicked. Dead people. All over the ground. Covered in chip bags and bottles and more bodies. She gasped and clasped a hand over her mouth before she screamed. Instead of screaming, she slowly breathed outward. She saw the bodies slowly rising and falling silently. With the realizations that they were not, in fact, dead, but only unconscious, she felt slightly less afraid of the entire world.
Instead of feeling afraid- just kidding- she felt about ten times more full of fear than two seconds previously. What the fuck was she doing in a heap of bodies?! Where the bloody hell did they all come from?!! Her eyes shot to see what her body looked like. Her casual wear was slightly crumpled and strewn across her, but other than that, it looked as if she had barely been touched. She hoped that the messiness was just an affect of sleeping on the ground.
She meticulously and silently skulked out of the room and found her way to the wide open door before bolting out and flying to the nearest bus stop. God, would she have some explaining to do. Gotta think up something on the bus ride to the next station...

Her parents had yelled at her for what seemed to be approximately five fucking years, but she'd lived. Through those five fucking years. Miraculously, Alice had made it off with just a long lecture and a couple hits, but she supposed that it was better than what most kids got for staying out late. Her parents said that they'd been slightly proud of their kid for not cooping herself up for once and staying out- slightly-, but incredibly distraught that they weren't given any sort of notification of how long she'd be staying out. She could have been kidnapped! Killed! Ran away! Committed Suicide! And they would never have known until it was too late! Or maybe even until never! And maybe bla bla bla bla bla chicken noises. Buck cluck. She did feel regretful, but that was her own feeling, not the feeling pushed onto her by her parents' worries and scoldings. Tsk.
Alice let out a long sigh. The bus was pretty quiet today. A strange atmosphere, but it didn't bother Alice, since it was all probably due to four/fifths of the student body being at the fucking god damn slut party. That was the last and only time Alice would ever go to one of those. The bus stopped. She felt a stare on her back. Gross. She turned her head around to give whoever was staring at her a glare, but found herself eyeing her one true friend instead.
"Good morning, Amelia." Alice greeted. Amelia just stood there, quickly turning her head down. Alice was confused, and cocked her head to the side a little. "Cat got your tongue, darling?"
Amelia just stood there for a bit. The bus driver yelled something like "Hurry up and sit down!" A few more seconds passed.
"Lov-"
"Don't call me that." Her voice was real quiet. It quavered a little. "Don't.. Talk to me.."
Alice felt like she'd been hit with the very bus she was in. "Wh... What do you mea..."
"DON'T TALK TO ME, YOU- YOU- YOU F-F-HOMOSEXUAL." She screamed. She wouldn't even look her in the eye before she ran to the seat way, wayyy in the back. The seat furthest away from Alice. Alice.. Alice sat there. She was.. Shocked? Hurt? Betrayed? Surprised? All of these things, very possibly. She sat there, like ice. Unmoving, barely breathing, the same expression frozen on her face. She didn't understand. She didn't understand anything. She wasn't able to comprehend anything. See anything. For the rest of the bus ride.
Anything at all.
