Amelia sat still for just a moment, contemplating what she'd just done. She threw her hands over her head and opened her mouth, pretending to scream. Fuck, she was glad nobody was able to see how stupid she looked right now. Or at least, she would've been had her head not been implanted with a fucking bomb of panic and regret.
"Fuck fuck fuck fuclc fuckc fucksfldkcufck," She repeated to herself as quietly as she possibly could (which wasn't honestly quiet enough, with her extremely vivacious and loud persona and the glances of pity and worry from the people near her), ignoring the garble it descended into. "God why can't this bus ride end already?!" She whisper-screamed. She didn't think that she could stay sane if she had to spend another 10 minutes with Alice's very presence in the very same exact space she was. The hurt and huge emotion waves she felt from her was unbearable.
"Please.."
The bus ride finally ended, and Amelia looked up, immensely grateful, at the sight of school (oddly enough). Amelia practically bolted out of her seat. She wished she could exit the bus with the same acceleration. She saw that Alice had stayed in her seat, a couple seats ahead. Amelia sucked in her breath. That seemed to draw Alice's attention. Her small head slowly glanced at Amelia from the side before she stepped out into the aisle and walked out of the bus. Her usual march seemed to be corrupted with the walking style of a sloth and a goat for a second. Her sudden switch to her normal proud, straight-backed glide surprised Amelia for a second before Amelia quickly plastered her mask back on as well and walked behind her, she too with her usual loud and heavy steps.
"Yo, Felicia! Wait up!"

Alice was dumbfounded. She could barely comprehend and register what had just happened, but she still knew that it had happened and now existed in history. Her morning classes seemed to take an hour per second, but she lived. Sort of. The teacher may have slapped a ruler on the desk a couple times. And the students may have constantly looked over at her and whispered something to a neighbor. Amelia merely existing in all of her classes helped nothing, even if she didn't do as little a thing as flinch her way.
Then 4th period burst through the door. Lunchtime. A period which Francine also shared with her.
"Oi, Francine." Alice shouted at her as her heels clacked on the floor. The curvy women turned her head her way.
"Yes, mon ami?" She smiled.
Alice clicked her tongue. "Can I talk to you for a second? Outside, preferably?"
Francine looked slightly nervous. "Sure, dear. Just a second." She looked ready to bolt out the room. And sure enough, her pose was in a running position a second later. Alice grabbed her arm despite Francine's protests and pulled her to the outdoor portion of the cafeteria, out of earshot from the people that shot her nasty looks and murmured as they passed by as if they couldn't hear.
Alice crossed her arms and cocked her hips to the side. "I'm just going to assume that, judging from your reaction just now, you know what happened? With Amelia?"
"What a sharp mind... Perhaps, I do, tho-"
"Put it bluntly or I'll bloody massacre you and your family like the wife of Philip II's did. I'll happily play Bloody Mary for a night or two. Wanna test me, you buttery frog toad??" Alice grabbed Francine by her collar.
Francine cast her eyes downward and looked away. "... Do you remember the party?"
"Yes."
"Do you remember getting challenged to a drinking contest?"
"A what?!"
"... You got drank past your limit, Alice. Then you joined a game of Truth or Dare..."
There was a moment where neither said anything. Then it clicked.
Alice's breathing shook. "W..what did I say. What happened."
Francine's lips formed into a thin line. "... 'I love Amelia F. Jones.'"
