A poem for the outcasted

A man loves his body
A woman loves her heart
A man is confident
A woman is shy
A man is the provider
A woman is the caretaker
A man cannot cry
A woman should not be able
A man cannot feel
A woman should not fight
A man can't love another man
A woman can't love another woman
A person cannot love both
A person should not want to change their sex
Who we are is wrong
Who we love is wrong
How we want to behave is wrong
We do not belong
My love is wrong
My body is wrong
My mind is wrong
I do not belong

This is how they want us to think
This is how they want us to feel
This is a poem for the outcasted,
They can't take your identity away from you
