I don't know where this comes from/ lately everything I write nowadays seems to be about her/ Her with the piercing blue eyes and the cocky ass smile/ her with her head down low in denial/ it's always been her/ I'd say it was love at first sight but I know it's a lie/ I was the pity to their party/ but they took me in and I met her/ Her with the attitude but you know I'm kidding laugh/ Her with the freckled face, the awkward smirk, the worn down shoes and terrible dancing/ If theirs something wrong/ I don't really know how to fix it/Can't help someone that doesn't want or maybe really doesn't need it/ It's her war and I'm just another soldier trying to fight it for her but both of us have our own battles to try to win/ And who knows if we'll make it out alive/ Lately everything I write has been about her/ but if there was ever a time for me and her.../ it's passed/ But I keep wondering if there's something more but it's too late for all of that/ I'm saying goodbye/ so goodbye/ Lately everything I write has been about her
