They taught me how to wipe my tears but you taught me how not to cry
They taught me when to say the truth but you taught me how to never lie
You taught me how to be strong, how to feel with moderation
You taught me how to act based on thinking not feeling

You told me you don't want me to make you my whole world and that you wanted me to have things to go back to when your not around
You loved me selflessly; you loved me the right way
And I think I fell a little bit in love with you
As you fell a little bit in love with her
