Today was my sister's wedding day. Ugh. Damn weddings. I hate them.

What's the point? I wasn't in the mood for anything romantic. I really haven't been for the past week. My boyfriend of three years cheated on me with my "best friend".

Anyway, back to weddings. In my head, it goes: You get married, and then you get divorced a week later. It's simple. My sister annoys me and thinks she's perfect, being the older sister. I went through her stuff going to prom, and all that stupid stuff.

I went to prom, but it sucked. I had a navy blue dress, with a lot of diamonds. I looked beautiful, as people told me, but it all changed when I got knocked over into the huge fish tank and was soaked with my hair and makeup messed up, and I smelled like fish the rest of the night. I'm supposed to graduate in a couple months, and my college scholarship was easy to get since I'm a football player (soccer).

I also may like One Direction... I'm not going into detail!

Anyway, I woke up that morning and got up with my sister pounding on the door. I got up, with my hair a mess and walked over to open my bedroom door. I said, "God damn, what do you want Kayla?" And rubbed my head, "It's like five in the morning!" She replied, "MORE LIKE TEN! Gosh Mckenzie! It's almost time to get ready! Brush your hair and teeth, and plug in the curling iron!" She said pushing me into the room.

I groaned as she followed, and I pulled my dress out of the closet, which was a bright blue with a sweetheart neckline and diamonds. It just had to be blue didn't it?! My sister has got me on a diet, and since my ex cheated on me, I've been craving chocolate, but "I'm not allowed to have it because I won't fit in my dress." Whatever. I laid the dress out neatly on the bed so she didn't freak out on me, and I got dressed into something comfortable while she got out my shoes.

I plugged in the curling iron and sat down with my sister babbling about the wedding. I tuned her out while she did my hair and makeup. When she finished, I looked in the mirror. I was shocked at what I saw. I actually looked.... pretty. I turned around and hugged her, "I swear if Chris hurts you I will fucking kill him." She hugged me back and laughed, "That's fine Mac." "I still believe weddings are pointless." She pulled back and rolled her eyes "Get your damn dress on and meet me downstairs, I have to get my hair and makeup done, and then I'll meet you downstairs and we'll go to the church." Zipping up my dress I replied, "Alright." I smiled softly, and said, "Good luck today sis" she then replied, "Thanks, you ass" she laughed and turned, leaving the room, as I pulled on my shoes grinning, and then trudged down the stairs, miserably, waiting for my sister to come for the limo.

I was sitting on the couch when she came down. She looked beautiful in her dress. She looked like what she wanted to look like. A princess. I smiled sweetly, trying to act like I was excited, even though I was dreading anything romantic, before I could say anything, she said, "Hush Mac. You look beautiful, and stop acting excited, I know your dreading this. I love you, now c'mon. I don't wanna be late!" I didn't say anything, I just smiled and walked with her into the limo, thinking about letting loose tonight, since I'm now 18 and I can drink.

As the limo pulled away, I got a knot in my stomach. God, I hated weddings so much.
