Chapter 2: Don't mess this up

Percy's POV

Okay fishies, don't mess this up, remember what we practiced, As a son of poseidon, I can talk to fish telepathically (sort of), FIRST POSITION.

Immediately, as I said those two words the school of fish start forming the word: ANNABETH. Relief fills in me when the I see the fish doing it correctly. 

"Percy, what's happening," She says to me smiling a look of surprise on her face.

"Annabeth, the first time I met you when we were twelve, you told me that I drool in my sleep right?"

"Yes, Percy," she replies to me.

"And then I was like, I'm never going to date that girl. She's too arrogant." We both laugh, "But now, I regret saying that, because you are the best thing that has happened in my whole life. From Tartarus and back. And after a hella lot of years of knowing you, Now I know, I'm sure of it now, I want to spend my whole life with you." A pang of nervousness comes though me.

"Oh my gods, Percy," she gasps and starts crying tears of joy

"Annabeth Chase." I hope she says yes.

SECOND POSITION EVERYBODY!!! I scream to the fishes in my mind as they start forming the words! "WILL YOU MARRY ME?" Good work guys.

"Will you marry me?" I ask Annabeth while I tried my best to kneel down (although kneeling down in a bubble was almost impossible) and pulled the ring which was gray with seagreen stones embedded around it. Here is the moment of truth, the reason why I've been acting so nervous lately.

"Yes Percy, of course. Of course! Why would I say no, you dumb dumb. Oh my gods, how did you do that with the fishes?" She asks me. She stopped crying but she was still baffled with shock.

"I practiced them yesterday."

"Seaweed brain come here," she tells me to come forward as I put the ring on her. After that she gives me a kiss on the lips, a kiss that I will remember forever.

"Percy, thank you so much."

I hold her hands, and look at her, her big gray eyes swollen from crying, "I love you Wise girl."

"I love you too seaweed brain."
