Chapter 8: I know

Annabeth's POV

"Sorry, mind if I take a break?" I ask one of the people who were fixing my hair (they were all children of venus by the way) for at least 20 minutes already. "I don't feel good today."

I sit down on one of the beds in the barrack for a while until Hazel, the bride, notices me.

"Annabeth, are you all right?" She asks me while holding the long skirt of her dress.

"Yes, I'm all right, I'm just not feeling up to it today." I reply to her question as I massage my head with my hand.

"Well I'm sure we have some ambrosia and nectar somewhere here." She says as she opens one of the drawers.

"No I think I'm okay." Now that I think about it, my period did come late....

"Are you sure?" She asks me again.

"Yes I'm sure, thank you for asking, me and Percy owe you a lot." I answer putting my hand on my lap and looking at her.

Percy's POV

"Are you really sure you're okay?" I ask Annabeth once again. She really seemed not okay even though she keeps saying that she is okay.

"Yes I am okay. You are the second person who asked me that. I'm just a bit dizzy." She tells me again.

"Why don't you take some ambrosia and nectar?" It's kinda weird how she's not eating some yet.

She looks to her side first before answering. She smiles at me and says, "I just...I just don't want to take some okay?"

"Just call me if you want to go home already okay?" I tell her again. It was almost our turn to walk the aisle.

"Yes Percy I'll be fine, stop being so worried." She looks at me while laughing once again.

Laterrrr

Annabeth's POV

"Percy, I think I'm gonna puke." I finally tell him as I run to the nearest bathroom and puke in the toilet. I hear Percy behind me, rubbing my back.

"Wise Girl, what's going on? Why don't you eat some ambrosia and nectar?" He asks me again.

I look at him. "Percy I think I'm--" I don't get to finish the sentence because my body falls into Percy's arms and I lose consciousness.

Percy's POV

"Annabeth, are you awake?" After she fainted, some demigods checked her up and told me something unexpected, so Nico shadow traveled us back home.

"Annabeth, I have good news." She was already fully awake on the bed, so I hold her hand.

"You're pregnant." Instead of looking surprised, she smiles at me. "I know, I took a pregnancy test before the wedding started."

Then I realize something that hasn't crossed my mind yet. "But you know we're going to have to give the baby to Calypso."

A sad look crosses her face, "As long as we're together, right?"

I finally cut off the sad mood. " Do you want me to make you dinner?"

"Percy, how long did I faint?" She asks me.

"Hmmm, about 2 hours." I reply.

"Why are we home? The food there must be great."

"No," I say, "my food tastes better."

She laughs, "I'll try to stand." But the moment she stands up, she almost pukes, so she sits down again. "I think I'm going to stay here. Can you just order mcdonalds? There's nothing to cook in the refrigerator."

"Okay." So I got my phone and ordered, "What do you want?"
