Chapter 3: Wedding day goes wrong

Percy's POV

"Are you ready bro?" Grover asks me.

"Yes," I reply back. " Why are you eating so much tin cans?"

"'Cause I'm nervous," he says while chewing.

"Aren't I supposed to be the one more nervous?" I ask him surprised.

" I don't know, I have a feeling something bad will happen."

This worried me for some reason, what if she says no? "Well, I hope not."

"I can't believe you were able to pull all this off in one month." Jason says interupting me from my thoughts. "Well its starting already, it's time for you to go out there."

"Thanks guys," I reply, "Wish me luck."

As I come out of the Poseidon cabin, I was greeted by my mom, "I can't believe you are finally getting married," she says as we walk down the aisle. "I'm gonna miss you, you know."

I smile. "Don't worry mom, we'll visit you often."

When we reach the end of the aisle inside the amphitheather, she kissed me on the cheek and sat in the front row beside Poseidon. Chiron also allowed Annabeth's dad to come, although the place still looks like strawberry fields to them. The place was jam packed with campers seated.

As I wait, I noticed that a lot of gods have come today, except for Athena, even though we invited her. I guess she just really hates me.

Then finally it's the groomsmen and bridesmaids turn to walk the aisle. All the boys are wearing a very light seagreen suit with an also very light gray tie. While I am wearing the opposite, a gray suit and seagreen tie.

The girls are wearing gray chitons with one sleeve and leaf crowns. They are holding flowers picked out by the nymphs. Annabeth just wanted a really simple wedding. I couldn't argue about that, so she got the Aphrodite cabin to make the clothes (but she designed everything and supervised them to make sure they didn't make too girly).

So after a really long time, finally my beautiful Wise Girl is walking down the aisle wearing a very light seagreen chiton with two sleeves and a cape which was only attached to the sleeves and made a pretty long train. Her dress was cut short until the middle of her legs but is going downwards at the back making a shorter train. Her hair was lay down with a crown of flowers. She is holding more and nicer flowers.

I look at my mom who smiled back at me but as she looks back at Annabeth a look of surprise overcomes her as I hear the words being shouted"Percy! Help me."

Annabeth's POV

A really sharp pain hits my head as I walk down the aisle, as if someone planted a dagger in my brain just now. I fall down because everything seems to be spinning and shout, "What's happening! Someone help me! Percy!"

"ANNABETH!!!" Percy runs to me. "Are you okay?"

"Dagger.....in...my......brain," I say while breathing heavily. I can't form the words for some reason.

He holds my hand for a while and starts saying a bunch of stuff, but I can't understand him anymore, it's as if someone is blocking me from reality. "Percy......help me." Then everything disappears, and I lose grip of his hand. The pain stops and I stand up.

"Hello? Anyone? Percy?" I was in my cabin. I look out the window and is surprised by what I see. The camp looks like a million gods destroyed it. All the trees where cut and all the buildings were smashed.

I walk outside, to the amphitheater, which is the last place I remember being.

Then I finally notice it, all the people who came today were dead, including Percy. "PERCY!" I run to him and sit beside his body, who was stabbed on his weak spot, I start crying, "PERCY please wake up! Wake up! What happened!"

"Hello Annabeth," a voice says, "I finally get to meet you."

I look back surprised by the voice that came out of nowhere, "Who are you! What did you do! WHAT DID YOU DO TO HIM! Why are they all dead!"

Percy's POV

"Percy......help me." Annabeth says, her voice almost fading away. "I'm here Annabeth." I reply, "Can you hear me?" Then she suddenly stands up and starts looking for me, "Hello? Anyone? Percy?" she shouts not looking at anyone in particular. A split second later she faints.

"ANNABETH!" I start shaking her ferociously, "Wake up!" I see Will running with a first aid kit. Everything suddenly became noisy as people wondered what has happened to Annabeth as a crowd gathered around me and her.

"Stop shaking her that hard Percy!" I finally notice that Frank, Jason, Leo, Piper, Nico, and Hazel were all behind me. "Yeah, do you want to give her a concussion also?" Leo chimes in. I got mad at this comment that I wanted to strangle him.

"I WAS JUST---" I get interrupted by Piper, "Percy calm down, if you panic more you are just going to make the situation worse." I immediately calm down. But I was sure she was using her charmspeak. Maybe I was panicking to much. 

"She's alright, but I'll have to bring her to the infirmary." Will says to us after checking her vitals.

"Wait," Hecate starts walking toward us, "I sense a strong magic going on in her. A magic as strong as mine. I will try to remove it. But it might not help. Meet me at the infirmary."
