Section 1
The year is 2153 and humanity has no true rulers at hand, only the military, the mechs, the outer beings, and the rebel enforcements. Johnny is 9 and mike is 23. Johnny's mother is trapped by a mech.
Chapter 1: Mike
"Run!" yelled a man in the distance.
"What's happening, what is that over there?" another yelled.
"Johnny, run baby, don't stop!" Johnny's mother yelled for him as he ran to her.
"Mom! help me!"
"Run Johnny, and never look back, promise me you'll never look back."
"Ok mom, I promise."
"I love you."
That was the point when Johnny took off down the hill, he never stopped running till a mech landed in front of him, the mech charged up and hissed, it was about to explode. that's when I grabbed him and we ran into the woods, there was a bright flash followed by a loud boom, knocking me and Johnny over onto our stomachs.
Chapter 2: Johnny
When I came to, the man that grabbed me was carting me in a wheel barrel to a large building. It had an emblem that was a large "R.E." and a Soviet Union sickle and hammer cross.
"Where are you taking me?" I asked.
"To a safer place guarded by my men." He replied.
"Who are you?" I asked
"I am Mike, military captan of the world, leader of the Rebel Enforcements."
When we got to the door, mike pushed a button on the strap on his wrist and the buildings gates opened. there were guards, shops, towers, and small buildings surrounding the large one in the middle. on the front was a dark red "R.E." like on the gates out front of the base. Mike grabbed me out of the wheel barrel and walked me to the large building and opened the doors. inside was a large hall, at the end was a large room with tables and a kitchen at the back. Mike led me to a room at the far right end of the hallway. when he opened the door to the room. a buzz went off and a gun dropped from the ceiling. in a robotic voice, it said " halt, who goes there?" Mike said his name. the robot went back into the ceiling. mike walked me into the bedroom to the right. He said it was my room, so I laid on the bed and covered up.
"Where's my mom?" I asked.
" I'm sorry son." is all he said. " now go to bed, we have a long day tomorrow, your going to be a rebel.
Mike started to walk out of the room.
"Good night." I said
" 'night." he replied
Chapter 3: Mike
I needed a drink, so I went to the local pub. it was dark out and it was raining. I found the nearest stool at the bar and asked for the regular.
"Coke on ice, got it. so did you really steal a kid?" he asked.
This threw me off, but I sat silently and drank my coke. then the attendant walked in. He took account of all the people in the base at the time. He was drunk, he asked for the same drink.
"So mike, heard you stole a kid from a lady you knew."
"What did you say? I saved a boys life today, what do you do, count people?" I replied.
"What? But I was. . ." Is what he got out before I hit him with a bottle from the bar. The bartender called the paramedics. I turned to him and asked him who told him I stole the kid. he replied by saying it was Jose. I stormed past the paramedics to the main building.
Chapter 4: Johnny
I woke up to a loud door slam open in the hall, I could hear mikes voice yell at a man named Jose about me. I laid there for some time listening to them argue about "stealing me" and "leavening my mother to die." this scared me that was all I remembered before I passed out. When I came to, the clock in the dark room had a defying set of red numbers of the Digital clock said 3:47 AM. I walked out to find the hall lit by dim lights in the roof above. I walked out to the courtyard to find the skies lit up with bullets from nearby guns, some even from unmanned guns on the roofs of the four towers of the base. I saw a body in the sky fly by a gun, getting shot by the gun and falling towards me. mike came and shot the being falling our way with a gun that grounded it. he pulled me inside.
"Are you mad! You could have been killed out there, you need to stay inside. There are beings out there you don't want to tango with. are you all right?" Mike asked
"Yes, I'm alright." I said in tears
"Good, now go back to bed, you start training tomorrow." He said
I went to my room at the end of the hall. the other people in the doors in the hall watched as I walked. I got back into bed. the last thing I saw was the alarm clock say 4:00 AM.
