Chapter 24: Sean
"I know." he said
"Then why are you here? there is a giant hole in you!" Kyla said.
We let mike go.
"Why'd you attack me?" joe asked.
"You shot at me, and I black out. It happened to the soldier that did that to me earlier." he said.
"Oh, so don't fire at you?" I asked sarcastically.
"Yes. that would be nice." he replied.
"Why didn't you die when I shot you. there wasn't even a mark after." joe asked.
"I don't know. I still don't know why I'm not dead!" he replied.
"We need to just stay calm and figure this out. here let me try to heal you." Kyla said as she used her powers to try to heal me, but it was in vein. the hole in my chest stayed as is.
"That didn't work." she joked.
Just then. Techna walked in. she looked right at her father standing there.
"Is this a joke? IS IT!" she demanded.
"No darling. as hard as it is to explain it, it's me. I know I'm not suppose to be here. but I am." I replied.
Techna pulled out a gun.
"Oh please don't point that at me. you don't know what your doing. please don't!" mike yelled.
She pointed it at him and fired. as quick as the bullet left, mike was behind her.
"Mike,NO!" I yelled as mike twisted her neck. she fell over slump on the floor. I tackled mike to the wall and kept going. I could feel his teeth sink into the back of my neck. I then blacked out.
Chapter 25: Johnny
Sean fell over, dead, and mikes daughter did as well. in the dark hole stood a beast of pure hell.
"What have you done? you monster! I thought I knew you!" I yelled as I took off for the door Kyla and joe followed.
We stopped by the door and watched as mike collapsed by Techna and near Sean.
"What have I done. what have I become. WHO AM I!" He screamed into the evening. we came back.
"I don't know if you deserve my sorrow, you killed my brother and my niece. But there is gratitude to be shown. I am sorry for your loss." Kyla said teary eyed.
"I, I don't know what happened to me. But we need to find its origin and destroy it, even if it means certain death for me." he said.
"Yes, there is no way this is your work. but I know who's it is. his name is VonSniter, he was a very good reanimater from the north. should we travel there?" joe asked.
"Yes, how do you know this is his work?" I asked.
"The way mike starred at us from the wall. it was the look of pure hell running through his soul. he has infused him with the power of a god. He just have to learn how to channel it." he replied.
"Ok, then we go north. go pack your bags and get ready, leave me to grieve in the pain I have caused. we will leave at 14:00 and no later. this base needs a new leader. and Johnny must stay."
"What! after what you did to my sister! you think I'm still going to listen to you!" I yelled as I made my way for a truck.
Joe chased after him. Mike told him to stop and let me go. he said I needed to find a way to stop this evil. and i seemed truly determined to do so. They packed their things and got some sleep as I left base.
