Chapter 13: mike
As I ran to the battle of my comrades and the old Legend, the tail of the serpent struck the deck at full force, sending us and shards and chunks of the deck with us. we landed with a loud "thud" as we hit the earth below us.
"Ah, soldier count-off!" I yelled.
"Here,but in pain." Johnny yelled in response.
"Here." joe yelled.
"Good, joe, get Johnny to the truck and get your weapon." I yelled to joe.
Chapter 14: joe
As I made my way to the truck, I heard a vehicle approaching. I scanned the area to find a man in a buggy with a 50 cal. rocket turrent. I grabbed my sidearm and waited for his approach. the man stopped the vehicle. Got on the turret, and fired about 10 rockets at the serpent. it blew holes in its body, instantly killing it.
"What's your name?" I asked.
"The names Sean, I heard the commotion clear across the desert. I came as fast as I could." he replied.
"We thank you. I ask you if you could join our ranks in mikes great battle for freedom." I asked
"He's trying to restore Americas freedom, I'll join, but it's a waste of time." Sean replied.
"Good, I'll inform mike on the situation." I said as I turned right to the face of mike.
"Who's the newcomer?" mike asked.
"His names Sean, he said he'll help us." I replied.
As he started to move towards Sean, we were met by violent rumbling from the sea. a huge wave formed as a colossus sized Mutant fish rises up, it had menu serpents attached as its arms.
"So, we were fighting a giant fish and didn't know about it, nice." Sean joked.
Sean got in his truck and sped toward the remains of the dock, joe grabbed his sniper and Johnny got in Sean's truck and drove while Sean manned the turret. I grabbed my sword and my nano dematerializer rifle and ran to the beast. first a rocket hit a serpent arm and blew it off. the mutant threw another arm to the dock remains and split it. the arm was jammed and I ran, swung my sword as hard as I could, then lopped an arm off, three down, five left. joe shot the fish dead center of its head, it howled in pain, but it swung another arm and hit the deck into fourths. we were now separated on a slab apiece. I jumped at the mutant and lopped off another arm. Sean and Johnny drove up a ramp from the broken dock, fired rockets at the mutant, and severed two more arms. that meant one was left. but the last one was way bigger than the rest it pulled the mutant onto the dock, it had long spiny legs that held it up, it ran at us with the last serpent snapping at us.i jumped at it and swung, loping a leg off
Chapter 14: Sean
I stopped the truck, turned the turrent, and fired at the legs blowing off the rest of them. the mutant dropped with a tremendous force. the mutant died, but the serpent detached and slithered right at me.
"Johnny, you need to leave, he's coming right at us." I told Johnny as I started the truck. I turned the truck right at it, it's mouth was wide open as it slithered at me. I floored it to the serpent.
"Sean, NO!" mike yelled as I was swallowed whole. I kept driving unroll the truck stopped. there were small mouths that clamped to the tires, instantly popping them. I jumped out and swung my blade and cut the beast open. I then set the truck on self destruct. I walked out to find mike and joe standing there in amazement.
"Peace of cake." I joked.
Then I felt a sharp pain in my shoulder. one of the mouths grabbed ahold of my shoulder. it then pulled me back into the body.
"NO!" I yelled. "There's a bomb set, RUN!" I said as I disappeared. Then there was a flash.i was blown out of the body. I landed and skidded across the pavement. there was horrible pain in my body. as I layer there, I saw mike and joe coming. then my vision blurred and I passed out.
Chapter 15: johnny
Joe loaded sean into the back of the truck and we got in.
"Johnny, get back there and patch him up the best you could." Mike yelled back to me. I crawled back there to find a body that had holes in it and an entire arm gone. I ripped a shirt up and tightly tied it to his arm. I then took a torch thrower and burned the wound to stop the bleeding. I covered the rest of the holes in metal plates that I bolted to his bones. he slowly regained color.
"I think he'll be fine." I tole mike.
"Good, keep an eye on him, we're almost there." he replied.
We drove into the darkness ascending on us. When we got to the base we helped get Sean into the medic building.they took him to the E.R.
"Who's the new people mike?" A doctor asked.
"Friends that helped us live. we would hive died out there without them." I replied.
We went to the main building to find rooms for joe and Sean. joe assisted Sean's stretcher to the room as a seres of robots and do tees came in. joe closed the door behind him and went to his room. we followed to our rooms and fell asleep.
Chapter 16: mike
The next morning, I was met by a nurse at my door.
"Sean's in critical condition, but he will live." she said.
"What's your name, I've never seen you here before?" I asked.
"My names Kyla, I was raised here. I transported here to help Sean, he's my brother." she replied.
"Your brother? well he sure did help us. when he wakes, tell him I owe him." I asked her
"O.k., I will." she said. "I noticed you have a gash on your arm, let me fix that for you." she said. she raised her hands and a purple fog came from her hands. the gash on my arm healed very quickly.
"What the?" I asked.
"I also have some interesting news for you, you and joe are also related to us, you have a hidden power like me and Sean, what is your specalty?" she asked.
"I am very athletic and amazing at sword fights. the sword is me, and I'm the sword." I replied.
"Ah, I see, you have the power of what is considered the ninja lord. that's what we called a man that could do the same as you in the demon world, that's were your from." she said.
"What, I fight them, how?" I asked.
"Those are the bad ones, you are the very rare good ones, like our family. there are others in our family." She replied." We are the only hope of our planet."
