Nap time

"CALM DOWN!!" Aphmau raises her voice to quiet the guards. They are all on edge after hearing the news of Arza.

"BUT HOW? WHAT IF SOMEONE ELSE IS A TRAITOR!!" A lord yells. I see Adam's hands clench into a fist. Aphmau and he have been good friends. I understand.

"We don't." Aphmau's voice goes to a lower level. "It's under control. We need to speed up somethings. It'll be fine."

"YOU LIE!! YOU HAVE NO IDEA IF THATS TRUE!!" The lord yells out again. Adam's face is in contorted anger. He stands up so fast, his chair falls over.

"LORD APHMAU IS TRYING HER BEST!! IF YOU WOULD STOP AND LISTEN YOU WOULD UNDERSTAND!!" Adam yelled. The barn exploded into arguments and who's on who's side. I have an idea.

"Quiet!" I say in a voice that is commanding using my magiks. "Lords and Ladies. It isn't right to lash out. Please let Aphmau explain." I say in a soothing voice. I nod at Aphmau. She sends me a smile and continues.

"We have to get ready ASAP. All preparations are to be done today. If possible. How are the defenses Dante?" Aphmau says.

~time skip~

After I've helped all I can, I take a walk around the village. I haven't seen Garroth in a while. I head to the guard station. I don't know the lady in there.

"Hello Miss. Is Garroth here?" I ask.

"He's sick. It's best if you leave." She says.

"I think he can afford a visitor." She grumbles to her self as I head upstairs. I notice one door closed. Must be Garroth's room. I think to myself. I knock on the door.

"Hey Garroth? It's F/N. Can I come in?" I say.

"F/N?" He says.

"Yeah. It's me."

"I'm sorry."

"For what?"

"For pushing you away. I was rude to you. I'm really sorry."

"It's ok. May I come in?"

"NO! I mean I don't want you to get sick."

"Ok. Wanna talk?"

"Not in the mood."

"Ok.... Well I'll see you later."

"Bye." I head out. I wish I could see him, face to face. I head over to Adam. He goes by Sky in the public.

"Hello Lord Sky. Is there anyway I can help now?" I ask. He chuckles.

"Not since the last time you asked. Which was a few minutes ago. Why don't you see if Zoey needs help. Those kids seem a handful." He says. I laugh.

"That is true. Aren't they going on a ship?"

"Not till later. It'll calm them down. I think Aph said she has a guitar if you wanna sing to them."

"I think I will." I smile and head up to Aphmau's house. Zoey has the little ones on the small play area.

"Need a break?" I ask. She has bags under her eyes.

"I'm fine. I love the children." She smiles.

"I got them. If you could get me a guitar I can put them to sleep." Her face lights up. 

"That would be great. Hold on." She runs in and comes out with a guitar.

"They have mats to sleep on inside." She says

"Ok." I say to her. Now I direct my attention to the children. "Hey guys, come on in. Let's listen to some music." I smile. They cheer and come in. They sit on their mats. I start to play.

The little cuties fell asleep. I lean against the wall and relax. If this is the calm before the storm, I'm not wasting a moment.
