I could feel the look of surprise on my face,"What was what?" I was hoping she didn't see or hear Brendon.

She rested her hands on her hips. "He blew a kiss to you from the car." He eyebrows started to furrow.

"What?" I asked blankly. I did not see that he blew me a kiss.

"Stop acting stupid, Alana. Who is he?" She became more angry.

"Mr. Urie," I said very quietly. I felt embarrassed that she saw us.

"Are you dating him?" She asked me. Her expression turned from anger to concern.

"What, no. Teachers cannot date their students," I lied. I mean there was some truth to it.

"Alana. I know you like older men and you've talked about Mr. Urie being hot before. Please don't lie to me. Are you dating him?" She asked me again.

I avoided eye contact, "It's not official. But yes, I am seeing Brendon Urie."

Her expression was unreadable,"Are you happy?" This wasn't a question I assumed I was going to get asked. I was expecting a lecture and maybe the police would get involved.

"Yes, the most happiest I've been in a longtime," I replied. It was truthful what I said. Brendon made me very happy. I feel like I make him happy too.

She thought,"As long as you two are careful, I would like to meet him."

My mouth dropped open. "What do you mean?"

"I mean if he makes my baby girl happy, he's alright with me," she replied simply.

"Do you want me to call him? He can come tonight?" I asked quickly.

"No. Not tonight. I still need to think this over. I'm going to my room and I'll talk to you later. Next time I call do not lie to me though. I don't want you to lie when I ask you questions about him, okay?" She said. I noticed she seemed completely exhausted. I nodded and we proceeded into the house.

After I went into my room and I face timed Brendon. Within two rings he answered his FaceTime.

"Hey babe," he said. He was back at his house and he didn't have a shirt on.

"Where's your shirt?" I asked him.

"Nice to know where your priorities are," he laughed. His laugh.

I began to blush,"My mom knows about us."

He stopped and gave me a look a horror. "W-w-what?"

"It's alright, Bren, she said is was alright if we're careful. She wants you to come over for dinner sometime."

"She's okay with us?" He asked me. I nodded in response.

He had a smile on his face,"Well on that note. Alana Voyles, will you properly be my girlfriend?"
