My dad and Simon Cowell went and sat behind the huge desk.

"Hayley, please take a seat.". He gestured to the only chair left beside, the guy who had blonde hair and blue eyes.

And then it just hit me. And all of this made sense. Most of it, anyway. These boys are one direction. Realization suddenly kicks in me. I'm huge fan of them.

Ok correction, just a fan.

But I was surprised anyway. My eyes were open wide and my mouth shaped into a huge 'o' you wouldn't believe that it came from a woman's mouth.

I have met other celebrities before but their usually 8-20 years older than me.

Ava and I always sing their songs. It's a good thing she is not here she would have freaked out. Trust me Ava is like a MEGA fan of there's. And when I say MEGA I mean MEGA.That's why they were so familiar.

Walking across the room, I could feel everyone's stare burning into me. I found myself hurrying and quickly sat down next to Niall. Our arms were barely touching, and it all felt so ticklish. The heat coming from him was somehow relieving, and the fact that the Niall Horan was sitting next to me had my heart beating like a drum. It was so loud I was afraid they might hear.

"This is my daughter, Hayley." I raised an eyebrow at him.

God the tension in the room is killing me.

The brown hair guy wearing stripes, I think his name was Louis, was the first to speak.

"Nice to meet you Hayley! Oh I just know we are going to be such good friends! We will be seeing each other a lot once you become Niall's official girlfriend!" After a beat, Louis's eyes grew large. I'm pretty mine did too.

Did he really just say what I thought he said?? What the hell?

'Well shit. I'll just be down in the lobby guys" Liam quickly agreed, and Louis sped out of the room. There was a long, uncomfortable silence in the room.

Niall was squirming in his seat, and suddenly energy flew through me like i was hit by a lighting bolt when his hand grazed mine.

I withdrew my hands, and raised an eyebrow at dad.

"Dad? What was he talking about?" He quickly sat down across from me, ran his hand through his brown, perfectly slicked back hair. I couldn't help rolling my eyes at the thought. He wants everything to be perfect, who am I kidding.

"Well, Hayley, you see-" He effortlessly started, but I couldn't let him finish, as I was raging and confused.

How could he sell off his own daughter? Why me? I'm not his only daughter. Let Sofia do the dirty work.

I huffed at the thought.

"Dad. I can't believe you."

Niall looked kind of hurt, but who cares? He's as bad as my dad, wanting a fake relationship. What kind of dick does that?

"Hayley, let me explain everything." Niall grabbed my arm just as I was about to stand up from the couch. That sudden electricity bolted up my arm, just as before. The butterflies in my stomach were growing, and now was not the good time. He is an asshole.

"Fine." I pulled my arm back, not wanting him to touch me. I honestly don't know what the whole butterfly thing was about.

"Give me one good reason why I should do it." Crossing my arms, I hastily sat back down on the couch-this time, making sure there was a decent amount of space between us. There was a moment of awkward silence that passed, before dad promptly stood up.
