GAME ON (A N.H Story)

Chapter 20

Harry smiled widely, showing off his white teeth.

" you know what guys? Im feeling like movie night." Louis said, very much excited. "But for now, lets all head out for icecream, yeah?"

I quickly joined in. "Yeeessss" then added, " an icecream is exactly what i need right now."

I've never felt so home before. Maybe these guys aren't so bad after all.
I smiled to myself.

*Earlier today*

"Niall! Can I borrow your car." I say coming out of my room fully dressed. I had a summer dress on.

"Sure......why." He says looking up from the television.

" I just need to go to Mr.Gray's office and do some errands." I say, and Niall looks at me with one of his eyebrows put up like a question. I quickly look away.

Giving up, I sigh dramatically and say, " just come with me"

"Ok" he says. He sits up from the couch grabbing his car keys with him.

When we were seated in the car, me at the wheel and he in the passenger seat, I started driving.

"So where exactly are we going." Niall asked.

I grinned an evil smile and said, "You'll see."

"Here"

"Yup"

"Here" Niall repeats again.

"Yes here, are you going to repeat that all day, cause I don't really have time."

Niall rolls his eyes at me and groans. "Well let's get going" he says.

So currently we are parked in front of The Gray Industry, which is owned by my dad. I slowly start driving inside replaying my awesome plan in my head.

I stop at the gate, where the guards check your name and stuff.

I roll my window down, and a guard comes to the window. " Miss I will need your name." The guard says.

Obviously this guy does not recognize me, must be new. I pull my sunglasses down and instantly the guy recognizes me.

"Oh....uh....Miss.Gray. I didn't recognize you. The car is different today." The guard says.

"Actually it's Miss.Stone now, and I borrowed a friends car until I get mine back." I reply.

"Right....friend" the guard says, glancing at Niall, who was busy texting someone.

I smile fakely at the guard and roll up my window. He then let's us past the gates.

"Wow,......um" Niall says

"I know right" I chuckle.

Niall's staring at the huge building in front of us.
I park the car, and we both get out. I start heading towards the main door, and Niall follows me looking amazed.

Just before we go inside, I whisper in Niall's ear, "Don't look so amazed. People will think I picked you up from the streets." I say, and Niall looks at me offended.

"Hey I'm just saying look professional." I defend, and Niall rolls his eyes

Alright, here goes nothing.

I step into the cool lobby, and go up to the front desk.

"Hello Miss. Gray how may I tell you today." The front desk lady asks me.

"Hi, first of all it's Miss.Stone, and second, you can tell me what Mr.Gray is doing here." I say.

"Right....Miss.Stone. Ur.... Is that man with you." The lady asks glancing it Niall.

I turn around to see Niall with his jaw dropped and gaping like a kid at the wall. I sigh.

"Uh....yeah. Please ignore him" I say.

The lady looks at me then Niall and then goes to work.
" Miss. Mr.Gray is currently discussing some matters with the manager of the shelter." The lady says

I smile widely

"Great! Thanks for your help." I say and grab Niall, dragging him towards the elevator.

The ride is silence, and once we reach the floor, I get out and Niall follows me.

I stop in front of a room and walk straight in without knocking.

I walk in between a deep conversation between My dad and the manager of the shelter. Niall comes inside.

I put on a fake smile and say, " Good morning" I then grab a chair and make myself home. Meanwhile the three males in the rooms stare at me.

"So what's going on dad.....oh I'm sorry I forgot you disowned me." I say.

"Hayley what are you doing here" my dad said gritting his teeth.

"Surprise, surprise . I actually have discuss some matters with you. And since Mr.Wilkins is also here. It just makes my work so much easier." I say, gesturing to the manager of the shelter.

All three of them just looked at me. "Well let's get to the bottom of it. I want the shelter." I say simply, making my point clear.

"Don't be ridiculous, it belongs to me." Dad said.

"Actually it doesn't" I say. Gotcha. "You see, I was only 16 when the shelter was made, and both of us signed a contract and the manager, that as soon as I come of age, the shelter belongs to me." I announce, while dad looks stunned.

I take a bunch of papers out of my handbag, and put them in front of dad. "I have proof. Now all you need to do is sign." I say sweetly.

Mr.Wilkins clears his throat and says, "I agree with ms. Gray sir." . I turn my head and smile at him to say thank you.

Dad looks at us and says, " Fine.". Then taking a pen he signs.

"Thanks for your service Mr.Gray." I say fake smiling.

Then I march out of the door with Niall following behind.

Victory number one.
