That is how I would describe the moment now.
Awkward
Currently we're sitting in the limo with Chuck driving. And we both are sitting as far as possible. And I have no freaking idea.
But thankfully we are about to reach so.......ya.
Okay Hayley, now we need to have control on our emotions. That Sofia bitch is going to be there.
She will try to humiliate you and bring you down. She will try to take Niall away from you.
Wait, what.
I did not just say that. Niall is not mine. We are fake dating. We are friends and that's what we will always be.
"Miss Gray, you have arrived." chuck's voice snapped me out of my deep thinking. Niall gets out and walks around the car, reaching my door and opening it.
I nearly questioned him out of surprise, but then I realized that the paps are here. That's why he opened my door.
Stupid me to forget.
I take his arm and gracefully climb out of the car. I put on a fake smile and smile at all the paps, who are now clicking pictures of us.
As soon as we start walking, they bomb us with their questions.
Niall is she your new hook up
Are you both dating
Miss. Gray why are you arriving with Niall
When did you start dating
Do I see a new couple here
Obviously, both of us ignored the questions and walked on. Why can't they just mind their own business, and give us some privacy for once.
I mean we are human beings too.
Once Niall and I had climbed those big steps, and we're finally inside, we took off our coats and give them to the guy who was collecting everyone's coats. And did he look happy to do that job.
Please note the sarcasm.
Turning back to Niall, I said, " Let's go." He nodded and offered me his hand. I took it and we both started to walk inside.
Once inside we were met with beautiful decorations, and very rich guests.
Here goes nothing
"Niall you made it!" A voice said, causing us both to turn our head in that direction.
Of course. Just the person I wanted to meet. The most kindest,warmest, angelic person on earth.......Sofia.
Please do not fail from noticing the sarcasm.
Sofia stick her butt in the air and started-half running,half walking- towards us. As soon as reached us, she threw herself on Niall, nearly squeezing the breath out of him.
I actually felt sorry for the guys.
"Oh my gosh. I can't believe you're here." She said.
Um, what there to believe.
"Oh my gosh" Sofia squealed again.
Did she like start every sentence with oh my gosh.
"What a coincidence. You don't have a date, and I don't either. Why don't we go together and be each other's date." Sofia continued.
Hello? I'm his date.
"Actually Sofia. I already have a date." Niall said, pushing Sofia of him, and making sure she stood five inches away from him.
I literally had to bite the inside of my cheek to stop burst out of laugh, to Niall's reaction.
"Oh...who is your date. I can't see her anywhere." Sofia said, her face dropping.
Are you like blind. I'm standing right next to him.
"Hayley." Niall said gesturing to me. And surprising me by putting his arm around my waist.
"Oh....Hayley." Sofia said acknowledging me.
I put on a fake smile and said, "Sofia."
We all stood there silent, none of us doing anything.
"Hayley! Sofia! There you are." My dad's voice cut us three from our awkwardness.
"Sofia sweetheart you look wonderful. Just like your beautiful mother." He said hugging Sofia, while I just looked down.
Than turning around to me, I half expected him to hug me too, but he just stood there and said, " Hayley. Your 10 minutes late."
Wow he won't even hug his own daughter, but his soon to be step-daughter.
Suddenly he frowned, " You look too much like you mother." Now that got my attention.
"Excuse me" I asked.
Dad just shook his head and said, " Never mind. Look I need you both to kiss tonight."
"WHAT!" Niall and I both said in unison.
"Just kiss, like five minutes later." And with that Dad just walked away.
What the hell just happened.
Sofia didn't look much happy either.
As if on que, some of the paps managed to sneak inside, and they started to click pictures of us.
This made all three of us to rush and blend with the guests. As I was pulling me and Niall more deeper, Niall came to a sudden halt.
"Let's do it now" he said
"What" I asked
Niall rolled his eyes and sighed
Next thing I know his lips are on mine.
