Chappie 5

*Destiny's POV*

As we reached the classroom, I turned and smiled at Jensen unsure of what he was going to do, "I think I might want to stay, if you don't mind, of course?" he asked, well more like a question though. "No, I don't mind!" Well, I kinda do. But hey, I'm not singing today... I walked into the room and my best friend Shayda comes up to greet me, "DESTINY! I MISSED YOU!!!"

"You saw me yesterday...?"

"But still, I miss you!"

"Ok you weirdo, I miss you to!" I say as I hug her. "Who's that hottie?" she whispered in my ear, "I don't know we have Anatomy together and I met him at a gas station, but, he is a cutie!" I whispered back. Just then Jensen comes up! "*Ahem* I'm Jensen, a new friend of Destiny's and you must be...?" he introduced himself and I face palmed because I should've introduced them! "Oh, well how rude Destiny," Shayda said with a smirk "I'm Shayda, Destiny's best friend, it is a pleasure to meet you!" she puts out her hand to shake. "Oh and Destiny, you're singing today!" *Jensen's POV*

I think she'll do great! She must be a good singer, you can kinda tell... it looks like something she would do. "Destiny, you're up next, good luck sweety!" the music teacher announced. As she's walking up the stage the room of about 19 students quiet down, I turn to my right and see her friend Shayda, walking towards me to take a seat. "She's a really great singer, she learned to put emotion into the songs she sings to relieve stress, it's a pretty great tactic if you ask me!" stress? Stress from what? "That does seem smart, seems like something she is good at..." I trailed off as she tapped the mic. "I'm going to sing 'Breathe Me' by Sia... *instrumental begins* Help, I have done it again, I have been here many times before...." I make sure to listen to the lyrics and understand the emotion. "Be my friend, hold me, wrap me up, unfold me, I am small and needy, warm me up, and breathe me" she finished in a whisper like voice, I got the chills about 5 times during that entire time, and my goosebumps never went away... it was just amazing... "wow..." was all I could say, I look over to Shayda to see a proud smile etched on her face, "She did amazing, didn't she? I'm so proud of her..."

"It was amazing," I said clapping. Amazing was an understatement.

Destiny's making her way towards us after all of the cheers, applause, and calls for an encore... Shayda immediately gets up and hugs her, "You did amazing as always, Destiny! I'm so proud of you!" She exclaims "Thanks, this one really meant something..." she said looking at the ground, frowning. "Hey, the past is the past, we have to let go, live in the today!" "Yeah I know..." She smiles and nods... "Well, Destiny I think you did amazing," I say. "Amazing is an understatement, you gave me chills! I almost cried! I may not know about your past, but Shayda's right, you have a wonderful best friend there to pick you up when you fall, it's wonderful!" I say standing up and engulfing her small body in my arms, I finally let go, but I didn't want to, "Thank you, Jensen! You are an awesome new friend!" I want to be more... the moment ended when the bell rang And the classroom emptied. "Well I have Neurology next, how about you?" she asks "I have French next." I say, trying not to sound disappointed, "Oh, well it's only a few rooms away!" she noticed the disappointment. Failure... "True! I'll see you after ok? Maybe we can get some lunch?" I offer. "Yeah, that'd be great!" she replied as we walked in separate ways, waving. This class was going to be long...
