Taylor POV:

"Okay okay Dibbles, you will get your share just hang on a minute" I watched Selena as she poured the cat food into the bowl. "There you go" Olivia came up to her, purring and rubbing her head against Selena's arm.

"Babe, at this point I think she likes you better" she chuckled as she walked over to me, wrapping her slender arms around my waist. I returned the hug and kissed her for head wondering how I got so lucky. "So, where do you want to go to celebrate?"

"Hmmm" she looked up at me, her face in full concentration. "oooh, that new bakery cake shop place opened up. I think it's called Karlie's Kookies. I hear it's really good"

"Sounds great" I kissed her once more then released her from my hold, we grabbed our jackets and bags and made our way down.

Karlie's POV:

Long slender legs, short blonde hair, white simple dress and nude heels walked in to the cafe, filling the room with the scent of flowers. She was accompanied by a shorter, brown haired who wore a white tee and blue ripped shorts. They both looked so happy next to each other as they picked a table on the side of the cafe.

Realising I had a customer waiting, I quickly walked over to the counter, taking their order but ceasing to take my eyes off of her.

I couldn't concentrate on what the lady wanted to order, I probably asked her to repeat herself three times before I decided to just write down everything she said rather than attempting to take in all the information.

Taylor's POV:

We sat opposite each other in the most adorable little cafe. The aroma of freshly baked cookies wafted around in the air. Picture frames and paintings were hung on the walls, it seemed so personal and vintage. Taylor loved everything about this place. The menus were written on little wooden clipboards in fancy but legible writing. "Do you know what you want?"

"Hmm yeh, I'd love an English breakfast tea and a cookie, but don't worry I'll go get it"

"Sel, you're the one who's album was approved, I'm paying"

"Exactly! My album was approved so it's my treat" I smiled at her and rolled my eyes. She knew she had won, she always did and that's what I loved about her. She got out of her seat and made her way towards the counter while I sat their admiring the shop.

Shortly after she came back smiling and sat opposite me. "So have you got a complete album or most of it?" I asked as she sat down.

"I have a few songs and they want to record it for now. They think it'll give me inspiration to write more"

"You'll be busy then won't you?"

"I know. It's going to be hectic"

"And I'll be there every second of the way, rubbing your shoulders and buying you food of course" she laughed at my attempt at a joke.

We were then interrupted by the waitress walking over with our food. She turned to Selena "okay one green tea and an oatmeal cookie" she said as she hadn't over the tea and cookie. "And an English breakfast tea with another oatmeal cookie"

"Thank you" I said whilst she began placing my tea and cookie on the table. She took the tray away, still leaning over the table and then turned her face towards mine and smiled. Two green eyes, placed on a fair face surrounded by blonde/ brown hair. Her eyes were locked onto mine causing me to lose sight of my surroundings. Her facial expression changed, but not daring to drop her gaze.

The world around me stopped, as if I didn't know where or who I was. What was happening? Are her eyes that mesmerising? I can't think straight. I wanted to look away but I was drawn to the green orbs that lay in front of me. A fork falling on the floor caused the waitress to jump and get back to reality. She looked forward to the direction of the fork and then slowly stood up right. "I hope you enjoy everything" she said before stealing one more glance at me and then walking away. I watched as her long legs walked over to the counter. She took her place behind it and put the tray back where she got it. She looked up at me and smiled. I froze, all I could do was blush, until she finally looked away.

Her eyes looked like coming home

"What do you think I should do? Taylor?" I spun my head towards her, a look of guilt and confusion plastered on my face.

"sorry what was that?"

"I said what do you think about the idea of working wih Jack Antonoff for the next track?" She said, pouring the tea into her cup.

"Oh yeah yeh, Jack, yeh. Sounds like a good idea. When did you want to meet with him?"

"A couple of days would be good so I can get my stuff sorted before meeting with him"

"Okay babe, I'll give him a text and see if he's available"

Karlie's POV:

Our eyes were locked together, refusing to pull apart. It's like I'd known her my whole life. Her blue eyes stood out against her blonde hair and red lips. They were full of excitement and adventure and I couldn't look away until a loud clang on the floor jolted me back to life. I quickly told them to enjoy their food and walked away back to the counter. Back to safety. But her gaze; I felt it burning a whole in the back of my head. She was watching me walk away. I didn't dare to look up, scared I'd get sucked back into the trance. I pretended to look busy, not giving a care in the world until I couldn't help myself, I glanced up to find the blonde still looking in my direction. I smiled at her as I watched her cheeks redden. I looked away, not wanting to cause any further embarrassment towards her.

My mind was full of thoughts and ideas and emotions that were too difficult for me to comprehend. I decided that I needed to take my mind off of what just happened so I went back to the cookies and carried on mixing the ingredients together, trying to keep my mind occupied. After I took the cookies out of the oven, I saw the blonde, blue eyed girl leave the cafe with her friend and I couldn't help but stare at the way her dress fit perfectly around her waist, or how her hair blew in the wind when the door opened. And in that moment she was gone.
