Taylor's POV:

I took her hand in mine as we left the cafe, briskly walking away, dragging Karlie along with me until we stopped at the corner.

"Tay, where are you taking me"

"Here"

She looked at me with her eyebrow cocked. "To a street corner?"

"No silly" I got the keys out of my pocket, allowing the car lights to illuminate "get in!"

She looked at me, slightly nervous but excited, butterflies raced around in my stomach. She walked over to the passenger seat as I hopped into the drivers.

"I'm really hoping this is your car Taylor". I looked at her and laughed, I'd never seen her this nervous, it was kinda cute.

"Okay I guess that was a stupid question. Where are we going?"

"You'll see" I said whilst I drove away.

Karlie's POV:

We had been driving for fifteen minutes before Taylor finally parked up. "Come on" she looked at me smirking.

I hesitantly got out of the car and followed her, staring at the way her long, golden hair moved in the wind. I was so transfixed on her hair, I hadn't noticed walking into to a building.

"Ta-da" she exclaimed with her arms stretched out and a huge smile on her face.

"Bowling?" I said to her, smiling.

"Yep! I thought it would be fun" she said, getting a bit nervous.

"Well what are we waiting for? Let's go and get a lane". Her smile grew back on her face as we went towards the front desk. We changed into our bowling shoes and went over to our designated lane. Butterflies swarmed around in my stomach, this was the first time doing something with Taylor when I'm not supposed to be working. I couldn't help but picture the rest of our friendship blossoming from this point.

"Hey, Karlie, are you okay? We can go if you're not into it..?" She said, breaking me out of my own thoughts, a look of innocence on her face.

"Taylor, relax. I think you just realised that I'm gonna kick your ass so you're trying to back out while you can" I said with a smirk.

She instantly smiled back at me; glowing. "Bring it on, Kar"

I looked up at the screen and saw that I was first. I put my bag down and went over to the bowling balls, feeling them out and looking for the perfect one. I ended up choosing a magenta ball and went towards the lane, with one movement, I rolled the ball towards the pins, allowing them all to fall down. "Strike!" I screamed, with my hands up in the air.

"Damn, I guess you are good at it then" Taylor said with a smile on her face as I took my seat.

It was her turn next, she picked up a lighter bowling ball and went towards the edge of the lane. Even though her back was turned, I could tell she was concentrating. She made her roll, only knocking down one pin, just missing the gutter by a centimetre. She went to get another ball, not looking me in the eye. She repeated the movements as she rolled the ball, this time only hitting two. She turned around to face me, with a hint of disappointment and embarrassment written on her face.

"Aww Taylor, it's alright" I went over there and gave her a comforting hug, embracing myself in her sweet smelling hair.

"Guess I'm not too good. Who's idea was this anyway?" She said, laughing at her own failure.
