It's been a couple of days since Karlie was last round and I haven't seen her since. We texted a couple of times but we've both been busy, I've had a couple of meetings with management as they want an update about where I'm at with my writing and she's been busy with her cafe as well as arranging her schedule for work. But I think it's been good, it did get a little ridiculous me going there every single day, I guess it was just a peaceful place to write in. Without being distracted by my cats. It was about 10 in the morning when I woke up,
after being up half the night with a bit of music that I couldn't get out of my head and needed to get down on paper. I lazily got out of bed and went downstairs to find and feed the cats. I'm surprised they even let me sleep in this late. Usually by this time they'd be calling me and on top of me trying to wake me up so I can fill their bowls.

Once I fed the cats and they happily munched away, I grabbed a bowl from my cupboard and fixed my self up with some cereal. Sitting down at my island I took my phone out to see if I had any messages I missed. I had a bunch of emails basically confirming everything I had said in the meeting, a text from my mum just checking in on me and two texts from none other than Karlie.

Karlie: Hey Taylor I get off work early today and I'm meeting with my personal trainer after and I was wondering if you wanted to come. I know you said you hated the gym but I figured if you had someone to do it with it could be more fun.

Karlie: I mean you don't have to, no pressure. It's probably a stupid idea anyway..

I decided to call her instead, hoping she wasn't too busy to talk instead of texting her and being too late. After a few rings I heard her answer.

"Hey" Karlie said, I could hear her smile through the phone.

"Hey I thought it would just be easier to call you" I answered the unanswered question presented.

"That's cool, I'm glad you called" Karlie said. "So do you want to come workout with me or is that a big no"

"It's probably a big no but if I'm going to keep coming to your cafe, I'm going to need to be a little healthier so I guess it wouldn't hurt to come"

"Yay! That's great, I'm glad. It'll be fun!"

"I don't think fun is the right word Kloss" I said, laughing at her eagerness. "But I am warning you, I'll probably slow you down and be super tired after like two seconds"

"I don't care! It's cool, I'll just tell my trainer to slow things down for the newbie"

"See, you joke now, but when you actually see how out of shape I am, you'll understand"

Karlie laughed, her voice chiming through the phone. "So after work I'll pop home and put some workout clothes on and then maybe we can meet at yours and drive down together?"

"Yeah that sounds great!"

"Perfect! I'll be at yours around 12:30"

"That works for me, I can't wait"

"Same here. But I do have to go now, get back to my cookies. I'll see you later?" Karlie said with a hint of sadness in her voice.

"Enjoy the rest of work! Bye Karlie"

"Bye Taylor" She said just before hanging up the phone.

After hanging up, I finished off my bowl of cereal, cleared up downstairs and then headed up to my room to pick out something to wear. I had a bunch of workout clothes that I had never touched before because I always told myself I'd go to the gym but never did. After finally deciding what to wear, I neatly folded the clothes and put them in my bag along with a water bottle that I had kept to one side for whenever I did want to workout.
