A few hours passed with me in the mast.
I looked at the sky and saw the stars, they were shining perfectly; contrasting with the darkness that surrounded them. Tied up to the mast, I wondered when Peter would arrive. I knew he would. It was just a matter of waiting. I mean, Wendy was even thrown off board and that's when Peter came for her. He must be still in Neverland. How would he know I'm here? Of course. When we get there I'll be rescued.
I hope.

Just then a pair of pirates came up to me. They started to untie my hands! Suddenly I felt the rope release my wrists and I couldn't help sigh of relief. Those ropes were a true pain in the ass. But why were they releasing me?

I guess the pirates read my thoughts, because as soon as that popped into my head one said:
"Captain's orders. You ain't really do any damage now, so you ar' free to roam 'round the boat. Hook's office is out o' bounds though. It locked an'ways so you can't go in 'ere."
"Sure." I said. Although it was pretty hard to understand what he was saying. If I was going to be part of a Lost Boy style ambush, I had to get to know where I was. Maybe there was a secret passage or something to get the boys in. Oh! Maybe there were swords and guns and knifes and rifles hidden somewhere. Oh! Maybe there was gold— SMACK! The pirate who just had talked to me hit my head. I glared in his direction, my eyebrows furrowing angrily and my fist about to strike.
"Oi, stop dreamin' an' open you eye." He said, and he and his partner left me completely alone, before I could do anything. I suppose he meant I had to explore the boat, like wanting me to get to know my "work place". As if! This would never be my home. Never.

Anyways, I still had to get to explore the boat, besides, it was quite interesting. A cute wooden mermaid was carved to the front of the boat; her hair and face was decorated with pretty shells and other sea stuff. But first I wanted to get to know my rivals.
After taking a look I already recognised four pirates, and gave them nicknames.
The first one was Buck. He had buck teeth, so I thought it would suit him.
The second one was Eddie. His arms were full of scars, just like Edward Scissor-Hands.
Then came Ink. He had a big tattoo on his back.
Finally there was Elwin. I heard a pirate call his name, so Elwin it was. He wasn't big or strong like the other pirates. He had a pretty normal body.
After repeating to myself their names some times, I decided to get a look around the boat.
The first place I went to was the front part of the ship. There was a wooden wheel, and a table beside it. Carved in it said:
B
P —|— S
S
Then I recognised it. B stands for Bow, S for Starboard and Stern, and P for Port. The sides of the boat! So, I was in Bow.

I headed next to stern. That's where a door was, and I wanted to go in there. starboard and port were boring. There were just pirates hanging around and on starboard was the plank. Eesh.
Walking over to the door I saw Elwin staring at me. Probably making sure I wouldn't do anything bad. But then he walked up to me.
"Hello." He said. A strong British accent, I must say. Well, I had one too. But not as much as him.
"No, 'oi?'" I asked. He chuckled softly.
"Not all pirates are like him." He said, pointing to the pirate that cut my ropes. Now I recognise him as Ink.
"So," I said, crossing my arms. I need to look tough. "what is your reason for talking to me?"
"Well, I saw you a bit lost over here so I thought I could give you a hand." He said.
"Polite, are we?" I said, raising my eyebrows. "But I could use a little help. Not that I will need it anyways, since I am going to be rescued from this extremely disgusting place, by Peter Pan."

"Stubborn are we?" He mocked. "C'mon. I'll show you around."

After a while I had already finished seeing the rooms. In the first floor was the kitchen, nothing special about it. But it smelled strongly of fish. The other room was the planning room, in which they had a map and other pirate stuff I didn't understand.

On the second floor was the Pirates' cabin, where they slept, and in front of that room was my cabin. Hook had made it for his "guests". I am his guest now, so I get the room. In the middle of the two was Hook's cabin. It was supposed to be full of riches and other stuff. And... that was it. Soon Elwin was tired, since it was night, and he told me to go to sleep. The next day we would arrive at Neverland.

I dropped into my bed, letting the soft silky blankets press against my skin. The bed was truly fluffy, and the pillow framed perfectly my little head. It was perfect. The soothing rocking of the boat made me fall asleep before I could even think what I would do the next day.
