Okay so our next guest is Luca Orlem. Now Luca is a bit of a special character in that he's kind of hard to figure out. At first glance he's just an easy going, flirty kind of guy - who has a very interesting frienemy relationship with Elias - but at times he does offer glimpses of "something more" to him. Whether that's good or bad, is up to each of you to decide ;)
But that's about all I can say without spoiling the game for anyone who is planning to play it in the future. So I'll just let you enjoy the new chapter ( ˘ ³˘)❤

"I'll see you tomorrow in class, Whitehorn."
With a nod as he spoke, Elias started down the hallway leaving Rosetta in front of the door leading into his brother's office.
"Yeah... if I survive till then." she muttered to herself.
Taking a deep breath to calm herself, she prepared mentally as well as she could before reaching out and knocking.
"Come in." she heard the Prefect replying from inside.
Well, at least he sounded calmer than that morning so maybe there was still hope that she would leave his office alive. On that thought she grasped the knob and turned it, stepping into the room to find Klaus reading over some papers at his desk. Since he didn't seem to pay her much attention yet, she settled for glancing around the office only to find her curiosity aroused by the numerous items placed on the shelves at the far end.
Those had to be magical tools, knowing his family's main trade, and she admitted she would have liked to see what they did and how they worked. While she hadn't shown much interest in taking over her own family's business, she still enjoyed crafting and assembling magic items. Some tools required lots of finesse and grace to put together, traits which she had in abundance, to tell the truth.
"Do you know what the Buddy system is?"
His sudden question startled her out of her contemplation, and Rosetta turned her lilac gaze back towards the desk only to see that he hadn't even bothered to look at her while talking.
"Elias gave me the quick and ugly version." she retorted on a humorous note, trying to ease the atmosphere in the room. "But hey, now you have an excuse to work me like a slave... that should please you."
"Agreed."
His answer had her gawking at him due to how serious his tone was; but then he finally raised his eyes from the papers and she had to fight the urge to just shift uncomfortably on her feet.
"But it goes beyond just grades. Your wellbeing will affect mine, and vice versa."
"What does that mean?"
"For example, if you're sick I'll likely get some of the symptoms as well even if I don't get affected to the same extent as you. The same will happen to you if I'm sick. I don't think I need to tell you what would happen if you go into the forest like an idiot and get yourself killed."
His last statement finally brought a sincere shade of concern to her gaze.
"What kind of messed up spell is this? I mean it's not like I'll go running off to my death, but... I mean accidents can happen, and even stupid ones can get you killed. I could just trip on the stairs one day and break my neck."
"You're wondering why there even is a charm that would kill two students, if one of them dies." he replied, understanding the meaning behind her words. "That is what the Dragon of Time decided when he cast the spell on this land. He alone knows the criteria used to select those who become Buddies, but rest assured it's a very rare occurrence. You see, this charm is more than just a link between grades. It's also an exercise in having the two partners looking after each other outside of class."
