Alright today's special guests on our show are two characters that are only mentioned in the game (at least as far as I played it) - the eldest Goldstein son, Marius, and his fiancée, Elaine. There's no definite picture of them in the game, to my knowledge, but I ran across this one and I loved it because it just fits so well :P

Now Klaus' and Elias' brother isn't named in the game, so that was my own choice of name; as for Elaine, from what I could tell in the game they depicted her as having chestnut hair. So those are really the only differences... well, apart from how I chose to incorporate them into my story, which you'll have to wait and see ;)

Also, I thoroughly apologize for the long wait. The next chapter will be extra long to make up for it :D And before I forget, there are really only a couple more characters to introduce, so until the chapters come up where I can use their pictures and introduce them, I'll be adding pictures of the Academy from the game and various other thematic pictures.

So that's about enough ranting outta me, darlings, I'll let you enjoy the chapter. Don't forget to toss me a little comment and let me know what you think~ ( ˘ ³˘)❤

It was nearing dawn when Rosetta stirred from her slumber, feeling much better than the previous day. Gradually dropping the hazy veil of sleep, her mind soon focused on the sound of paper. And when she turned her head to the side to see the young Prefect seated next to her bed, scribbling on a paper placed upon his crossed legs, she felt a warm smile flourishing on her lips.

"Klaus..." she whispered, as if to convince herself that he was real.

Though she hadn't believed he could hear her, his gaze darted to hers.

"How are you feeling?"

Again smiling at his failure to completely hide his concern – or perhaps he simply didn't care to hide it – the girl nodded lightly.

"Better. Thank you for staying..."

Apparently ignoring her gratitude, Klaus instead set the pen down and the papers on his lap.

"Do you think you'll be able to go back to class today?"

"I think so..." she nodded, slowly sitting up in bed.

Falling silent for a moment while his scrutinizing gaze went over her, as if to assess the truth of her words, the Prefect once more spoke up.

"Don't strain yourself, if you don't feel well enough."

"But the Judgment's only a few days away..." she protested. "And I'd feel terrible if all your efforts went to waste."

"Don't concern yourself with me; focus instead on your own growth."

"Weren't you the one who told me that Buddies are supposed to care for each other?"

"What does that have to do with anything?" he retorted, narrowing his eyes in confusion.

"Well the same way you care so much about helping me, I care about not wasting your time and effort. Or do you think I didn't notice that you look more tired than when we first met? All these extra hours you put into training me are taking a toll on you. The least I can do is to not let this go to waste."

Her words rendered the young Prefect speechless, and all he could do was to stare her down whilst trying to understand why his heart had suddenly decided to pick up the pace. To his credit, his expression showed nothing of his line of thought; but he was truly impressed that she actually cared enough to want to stay – and more than that, that she was so observant and that she was concerned for him.
