Alright, lovelies I have just one quick mention for those of you who have played the game. I haven't yet played all the routes, so I have no idea if they ever expanded in the story on how the process of the Judgment goes down. And so, I did my own version which you'll get to see in the next chapter... just wanted to put that out there so people won't get mad at me :)

But yes, that's all from me. Don't forget to toss me a little comment to let me know what you think. Now go enjoy this new chapter, lovelies~ ( ˘ ³˘)❤

The chirping of birds and the sunrays gently kissing her cheeks caused Rosetta to jolt out of slumber, only to find herself in her bed. The first thing she felt was her heart dropping to the bottom of her stomach, at the thought that it had all been just a dream.

"Oh, you're finally awake!"

Startled by Amelia's loud voice, she turned her gaze to the side to see her roommate grinning at her from her own bed.

"What happened?" Rosetta asked, sitting up.

When she pushed the covers away, however, and saw that she was still wearing her uniform, her eyes widened and her hand instinctively shot up to her lips.

"That's what I should ask you! Can you imagine what it was like to see the Emperor carry you in here at the crack of dawn, while you were sleeping like a baby in his arms?"

"What?" she gasped, her heart skipping a beat. "Klaus... he brought me... here ?"

"The Dorm Mother was with him and he apologized, saying he didn't want to wake you up, because you were still recovering. Did you guys have some fun  last night?"

"Don't even go there!" Rosetta retorted, an unexpected laugh leaving her at Amelia's jest.

Moving over onto the young Whitehorn's bed, the chestnut haired student grinned yet again.

"Well, what happened? Last I heard you were in the hospital wing after fainting in class."

Ultimately giving in to her friend's insistence, Rosetta gave her the short version of the latest events – from her arrival at the infirmary, to how Klaus had kept watch over her all night, all the way to their kiss.

"He kissed  you?" Amelia gasped, seemingly barely able to hold back from screaming with excitement.

"Yes, but the weird part is I don't recall falling asleep, or blacking out... I don't even remember sitting with him on the bench or anything. It's like... like a piece of my mind is just... missing."

Settling down at those words, Amelia now gained a concerned expression.

"That doesn't sound good at all. Maybe you should go back to see Mrs. Fontayne."

"Yeah, I guess so... I'll do that after breakfast."

"You mean lunch? It's almost noon. But at least it's Saturday so you didn't miss any classes."

"I slept that long? After a whole night of sleep?"

Just what in the world was going on with her? She had never had such an erratic schedule before. Taking a moment to ponder, she finally moved out of bed and straightened her uniform.

"I'm going to the infirmary and I'll join you for lunch later."

"I'll save you a piece of cake." Amelia winked.

"You're the best!"

Sharing a brief embrace with her roommate, Rosetta then went out into the hallway and headed outside. Taking a deep breath of the clean air to chase away any remnants of sleep still clinging to her, she took a moment to watch the azure sky. It was truly frightening to know that a piece of her memory had just gone missing – and perhaps it was even scarier that she didn't know why  or how ! Shaking her head to drive away those thoughts for the moment, she headed for the main building.
