Gintoki remembered every bite and kiss they shared together. The way her lips would sync with his and the way she would say his name. He loved the feel of her clinging onto him as if he were the only thing left in this world for her. He remembered every bit of it. Even the feeling she left in his heart when she disappeared from home that night.

He got up from his chair that evening after reading his latest issue of JUMP and walked straight for the door when he heard the doorbell ring. He let out a groan of annoyance and muttered under his breath that it was probably the old hag to nag him about his rent. "Yeah, yeah I'm coming, sheesh." He slid open his door and let out a yawn with his hand fanning his mouth.
"What do you want old woman—"
"Who the hell are you calling an old woman?"
"Ah, it's just you, [Name]. Did you get my strawberry milk?" He asked pointing to the plastic bag in her hand. She made her way in past him and went on over to the kitchen. "I also got us some snacks," she said. Gintoki's eyes lit up from hearing that and quickly shut the door. He rushed over to her seeing that she had a [candy] popped into her mouth. He rummaged through the bag to find many variations of sweets and his strawberry milk. He opened up the carton only to chug it all down within a few gulps.
He threw a peppermint into his mouth and pecked the girl on the lips. "Thank you," he said cheerfully and lied back down onto the sofa. "Mm," she replied. [Name] turned on the television and watched the childish series that were playing on. She went over to Gintoki with the bag of sweets in her hand and laid on top of him with his arms making its way around her figure. He let her feed him some potato chips as he read his JUMP with his head on top of hers.
These two were not exactly sure if they were an official couple—sure they exchanged kisses and hugs and such—but when they called something theirs, other people would have to back off."God damn it, Gintoki!" She yelled in annoyance of all the flour that he had threw at her in the kitchen. They were baking a cake together because—well, why the hell not? It's nice to make something at home—and not completely burn the house down—once in a while.
The silver haired samurai let out a snicker and pointed at her of how silly she looked. "Now you can finally become a geisha and work with Tsukuyo in Yoshiwara!" He joked at her. She wiped the flour off on her face with a damp towel and threw a freshly picked strawberry at him. "Do you really want old men tainting me with their hands and hairy, smelly, sweaty meat stick on my beautiful, young body?!" She shrieked.
"Oh c'mon, why do you have to be so salty, [Name]-chan?"
"Shut up! Don't add the "chan" to my name, I hate those honorific suffixes."
"Hah? You let Kagura and Shinpachi and Toshiro add suffixes to your name!"
"It's not them, Gintoki, it's you."
He gave her a look of hurt in a joking manner and placed a hand on his chest to where his heart would be. "I'm heartbroken, [Name]-chan. I thought you loved me." She rushed towards him in an angry manner with a balloon whisk in hand. "Shut up and come here! Shrek called and wants his face back, you lil shit!"That was the only memory he remembered the day before she left.
