Lunch finally, I need to find Louis, I need to talk to him. He needs to know how I feel, he needs to know that I care.
There he is, sitting on his own in the corner, same place he sits every lunch hoping nobody will comment or bully him.
I really feel sorry for him, his parents died when he was just 7, he has no other relatives so he lives with a 'family' on the same street as me.
He's been round my house a few times to help me with homework, we're like bestfriends.
"Hey Lou" I say softly, hoping not to startle him. "Hey Mel" he says back quietly. I sit next time him and stare at him, he doesn't seem to notice which is good, it gives me time to look at the perfect complexion of his skin. "How've you been then?" I ask, hoping he'll have a good answer, "Same old, got punched in the stomach a few times, pushed into my locker, you know, the usual".
It killed me hearing that, "the usual", it shouldn't be a daily thing, he should be treated like a normal person.
"I need to talk to you Lou, come round mine tonight after school, it's important" and with that he nods and walks to class.
