Chapter 14

-Melissa Pov-

James was running towards us. "Oi bitches where do you think you two are going?" he asked laughing evily. "We're getting some air, maybe you could get some too, and get some friends while you're at it" Louis replied with a lot of attitude. "What did you say to me?!" James spoke, "I said what the fuck did you say to me!!" and he kicked Louis in the stomach. Louis fell on the floor and was gasping for air.

"James he's just came out of hospital, he could of died and here you are beating him up! What the hell is wrong with you? Do you get a thrill out of hurting people?! Or do you just like people being scared of you?! Either way, I don't care, just leave us alone and stop making our lives shit. What if one day one of us commits suicide because of the bullying we get from you? What would you do if Louis didn't cone to school because YOU KILLED HIM?! Think about that." I screamed at James, his face went pale and he looked shaken up. Nobody has ever spoke to him like that.

"Fine" hissed James, and he walked off.

I helped Louis up but he couldn't fully stand properly. "Louis come on, let's go home" and we started walking home. Louis stopped and started to speak, "Mel I'm so proud of you, I could never have stood up to James like that, not the way you did. Why did you do it?" he asked. I kissed him slowly and said "I did it for you" and we continued walking home.

We got home and sat on the sofa, I was snuggled up to Louis and his head rested on mine. Me and Louis have been together for 2 months and 1 week, and they've been the best days of my life. I'd never change them for the world.

-Louis Pov-

We were snuggled on the sofa and I could tell that Melissa was deep in though. "Mel what're you thinking about" I asked softly. "You" she replied. "Can I ask you a question?" I spoke. "Sure" Mel whispered. "Why do you like me? I mean, yeah we've known each other for over a decade but I've never known why you like me?" I asked curiously. "Well, you're funny, cute, good looking, smart, you make me smile, you're hot when you have attitu-" was her reply, but I cut her off by kissing her. "You don't know how much I love you Mel, you mean so much to me" I whispered in our ear.
