Chapter 16

-Melissa Pov-

*After school*

I'm going to go to Louis' now to tell him about James. That was seriously weird. I put my hair in a messy pun and neatened up my make up, then put on peach jeans and a babe pink tee shirt. I never usually make too much effort because Louis says I don't need to.

"Hey beautiful" Louis smiled. "Hey" I said. We walked into the front room and cuddled on the sofa. "Louis something weird happened today, uhm, James was nice to me today." I spoke quietly. Louis nearly spat out the water he was drinking, "What the fuck what did he say!" Louis shouted. "Calm down baby" I whispered. "Im sorry. I didn't mean to shout, I just, I worry about him, I'm scared he's going to hurt you." Louis said and kissed me, I kissed back. I pulled away and started talking. "He said I looked pretty" I said, "It's not much but it completely weirded me out" I continued. "Be careful Mel, he's planning something, and I don't think it's going to turn out well. Promise me you'll be careful" Louis said. "I promise" and I hugged him.

*At school the next day*

-James Pov-

Melissa is beautiful. How did Louis get her? I'm jealous of him, I really am. Maybe if I actually be nice to her and treat her like a human, we could be friends, and go from there. Here she comes, "Hey Melissa" I said. "What do you want?" she said bluntly. I'm not surprised. I treated her like shit. "I just wanted to say hey" I said, trying to hide my sadness. Nobody understands why I treat people the way I do, and hopefully nobody will ever find out.
