The Wakeup Call (Shadow The Hedgehog Fanfic)

In The Shadows

*Fiona and Scourge*

Scourge is sitting up near the rock, holding his eye, Fiona quickly runs over to him

"What happened?! Are you OK?"

"I'm fine! I can handle myself! Do you still have the girl?"

"Yeah... what do we do now?"

"The original plan, they are busy looking for you"

Fiona and Scourge walk to there hidden

base - in the basement of an abandoned house - Maria is tied to a chair in the middle of a concrete room and passed out because of a tranquilizer, Scourge walks in, just checking if anything happened since he was gone.

"... Do you know where they are?"

"Well they couldn't have gone far...even if they are the two fastest things in Mobius"

Scourge walks out of the room, and talks to Fiona about his plan.

Shadow, Sonic, Sally and Rouge are sitting on the concrete floor in a dark alley, trying to think of what to do, not coming up with any ideas. They hear footsteps come close to the Alley, they quickly duck into the shadows, the footsteps stop after hearing the noise of them moving, then the footsteps slowly creep forward, they see a blue shoe come into view, then a head peek around the corner, its a girl Hedgehog, with dark cyan quills, and her short quills in a ponytail, making them point up, also she's wearing a dress like Maria's, just yellow instead of blue. She sees the 4 hiding, with sonic and Shadow in front of the girls, in case it was Scourge, they both stare at each other for a moment, then the cyan Hedgehog slowly steps closer.

???: "y-your... Sonic and Shadow?"

Sonic: "... Yeah?"

The Hedgehog bites her lip, hoping they weren't, they were supposed to be captured if they were seen by anyone in anti-Mobius, and they all knew that. Shadow stands up, and looks at her, noticing how much she looks like Maria. She closes her eyes, trying to get herself to do what she needs to do, take them to Scourge, Shadow slowly backs away, and everyone stands up, ready to fight. She stands in a battle stance, seeing them in their battle stance. Shadow runs up getting ready to punch her in the face, hoping to knock her down so they can run, as he gets close enough to punch her he gets ready to, and she does something unexpected by everyone, she turns her head away from him, stands out of battle stance and flinches, preparing for impact.

???: " I'm... not going to fight you guys... do what you choose to do with me..."

Shadow stops himself from punching her

Shadow: "why?"

???: "because... you guys don't deserve this... you guys are some of the heroes of Mobius! Your Shadow the Hedgehog, the ultimate life form! Your rouge the bat! One of the best treasure hunters I have seen! Your sonic the Hedgehog the first hero of Mobius, respected by all! And your Princess Sally Acorn! One of the first freedom fighters! Its an honor to meet all of you! So... I don't care what happens to me... But you dont deserve the fate i was ordered to inforce to you"

Everyone is in shock of how much she knows about them, pretty much only Scourge and Fiona know that much about them.Sonic speaks up, breaking the silence

Sonic: "who are you?"

???: "I'm Sky, Sky The HedgeHog
