The Wakeup Call (Shadow The Hedgehog Fanfic)

The evil side of things

Sonic runs to Sally and comforts her, then asks

"Sal... what did you see out there?

"I... s-saw... s-sc-scourge... go through... t-the warp ring to his dimension..."

"... That jerk!"

Sally stands up, grabs her shoes and her coat and pulls sonic out the door

"Where are we going?!"

"To find Shadow!"

"But... I thought you where mad at him"

"im not! I'm furious with him! But we need his help!"

I nod and pick her up, and runs into the forest to try and find the cabin.

*Over in the cabin*

Shadow sighs, and thinks of Maria, wonders how sonic is doing, and... feels hungry? He walks upstairs, grabs something to eat, and sits on the couch... kind of pouting... Maria was so close... but so far.

BANG BANG BANG!

Shadow runs to the door and sees Sonic and... Sally?!?!!! He sees their worried look on their face.

Shadow: "Hey guys... what's going on?!"

Sonic: "Maria... has been kidnapped..."

Rage pumps through his vains, he clenches his fists, and yells... then he looks at sonic

"Who... did... this!!!!?????"

"Scourge... she is in the evil dimension... "

"What!? Wait... she has Amnesia... he could get her on there side!"

"That's what we are worried about! Let's go..."

Shadow gets Rouge, who is still asleep, and carries her, she couldn't keep up with them anyway, sonic picks up Sally and they run to knuckles house.

Knuckles walks to the door and sees them all (rouge is up now and Shadow told her what happened)

Knuckles: "hey guys! Whats going on?"

Sonic: "Hey Knux, we need your help... Scourge has kidnapped Maria and taken her to the evil dimension, and we need your warp ring!"

Knuckles: "sure... Here let me get it"

Knuckles opens a drawer and hands them a golden ring.

Knuckles: "good luck guys! Do you need any help?"

Sonic: "we will let you know, thanks alot bro!"

They all say quick goodbyes and leave, they walk towards a hill, so no one sees them, and activate the ring. They all slowly walk through...

They are there... in an anti-Mobius-like world, where Scourge is king... they head for Scourge's house, but are careful enough not to be noticed... you can just tell if someone is different... so they know in an instant who sonic is. they find Scourge's house and see him walk out, he sees them in the corner of his eye...

Scourge: "awe! Sonic your no fun! You brought the emo-hog and your girlfriends because you know I'm going to crush you like a bug!"

Sonic: "don't get too cocky... if you can crush me I can crush you! And that's what I plan on doing!"

Scourge: "ooh! I'm so scared... hehe... this is gunna be good!"

Sonic lunges at him, then Scourge jumps and meets him mid-air and throws him to the ground, sonic get back up runs at him, and punches him in the face, Scourge fly's backwards and skids on the ground, scrapping his arm, he hisses at the pain but gets up, sonic and Scourge are jumping, and punching, and tackling each other, but sonic sees them sneek inside the house, Shadow stays watching Sonic, Sonic gets thrown to the ground, and All 7 chaos emeralds needed to turn into super Scourge surround him, and he turns into super Scourge, he walks up to sonic, looks down at him and picks him up by the neck, Scourge laughs at sonic as he tries to get out of his grip, all the sudden, sonic could breathe again... Shadow ran up and punched Scourge in the face, enough to throw him onto the ground, he checks on sonic and helps him up. They look at the purple Hedgehog as he floats up off of the ground, he fly's at them, making them run 2 different ways, Scourge follows Shadow since sonic is already weak. He throws himself onto Shadow, making him fall to the ground, then Scourge kicks him in the gut, throwing him onto a rock. Shadow holds his head in pain, he looks out of the one eye it doesn't hurt to look out of, he sees Scourge walk up to him,

Scourge: "well then? Not the hero you thought you where? Your just like that pathetic Hedgehog! Now what are you going to do to save your, oh-so important, Maria?"

Shadow: "nothing..."

Scourge: "nothing?"

Shadow: "I wasn't done... nothing... But... this... "

He teleports behind him and kicks his face into the rock. He runs over to sonic, and they go inside to find the girls,

Sonic: "g-guys we have to g-go now!"

Shadow: "did u guys find Maria? We need to get out of here"

Sally: "Sonic!? Shadow!? Oh no!"

Rouge: "that jerk! How could he do this to you guys?!"

Shadow: "he turned into super Scourge, but even super Scourge gets knocked out when he gets his face kicked into a rock."

Sonic: "I think we won't have to worry about him for a good 5 minutes"

Sally: "well what do we do now? We can't find Maria anywhere!"

Sonic: "... Maybe Fiona has her..."

They try to find Fiona, but can't find her, they find a spot to hide and rest, they will have another big battle tomorrow.
