Chapter 8: Savior or Foe?

Sonic: "so... your parents died?"

Sky: "kind of,they were sent somewhere by the order of scourge, and killed in the process , I should be dead too, but he spared me and made me a servant for him and Fiona, and my job was to search for you guys, like everyone else in this dimension."

Sally: "so... why didn't you take us too Scourge? Or at least put up a fight!"

Sky: "because it wasn't going to solve anything! You guys probably have escaped, and even if you didn't, Scourge would just be more powerful, and he would care less about the people he rules over, and I wouldn't have been any more than I am, I might have even been killed once he was done with me..."

Shadow: "so... why did Scourge choose to spare you?"

Sky: "... I was hoping you guys wouldnt ask that..."

She starts to float in the air,They all stare at her, as her purple eyes turn yellow, her gloves grow ice-like spikes, she closes her eyes, and 5 seconds later pain shoots through her body, she flinches and clenches her fists. They all realize something... something that fills them with fear,confusion, and... pretty much anger... little ice drops surround her eyes, her quills fall out of her ponytail as ice forms around it. Her clothes turn into a shirt and pants, covered in ice, and her arms and legs form spikes, and stops floating... she looks like a girl Mephiles. They all get into their battle stance again.

Rouge: what the heck are you?!

Sky: ... I have battled Mephiles before... it was a long and tiresome battle, but I defeated him, but he swore I would regret it, he hit me one last time, and it should have killed me, but somehow I survived...but it left horrible side effects..."

Shadow: "what kind of side effects?"

Sky: "nothing serious!I'm not different then I was 1 minute ago! It's just the outward appearance..."

Everyone stares at her, she lost pretty much everyone's small bit of trust they had in her.

Sonic: "so... why did he want you?"

Sky: "I have all the powers Mephiles has... also I can absorb other powers, and grant people powers..."

Shadow: "wait... What?!

Sky: "... Hey we are powerful people"

Sky says with a smirk,as she starts floating with a blue glow surrounding her... oh yeah I forgot to mention, she's wearing gloves like silver's.

Sally: "wait... if you... obsorb power..."

Rouge: "then how do you have... silver's?"

Sky: "...oh, uh... i helped him and blaze stop iblis once... i wanted to see the future and i met them"

Sonic: "what?! You beat Mephiles and Iblis?! You must be good! That's crazy!"

Sky: "well thanks... I'm not that good though, and it wasnt easy, as you guys would know..."

Shadow: "still...how can we trust you still?"

Sky: "Who said you could?! You know, we both become feared by mankind... so it's up to you whether you trust me!"

Everyone: "..."

Sky looks at her feet, knowing she made a stupid decision in saying that,then morphs back to normal, and stops floating. Shadow eyes her in shock, but realizes that what she said could be true, but he doesn't care; 'I will make my own destiny' he thinks to himself
