Love Me Chapter Eight

Chapter Eight:

McKenzie's Point Of View:

I giggled as Jazzy and Mason let out laughs at something that happened in the Spongebob episode. I had on Netflix, so that they can be entertained.

I picked up my five year old sister, Jazzy, earlier today. I hung out with Austin a bit, and turns out that his mom is visiting Austin's Aunt Lisa for a while, so his mom said he can stay here until she comes back.

I don't know where he is now. He went out for a walk, like half an hour ago.

I felt like some sort of wizard when Austin stormed in my room.

"How could you?!" He yelled at me, making my smile vanish.

"Huh?" I asked. I was confused. No, confused was an understatement. Because, I was confused and scared and nervous. His eyes, which were normally a blue-ish mixed with hazel color, were now a dark blue, almost green.

His face was red, from how mad he seemed to be. And it honestly scared me a bit.

"I can't believe you would fucking do that to me!" He said.

"Woah, okay, one, watch your language. There are children in the room." I pointed at the kids. "And second, do you mind telling me what it is that I did? Because I sure as.. Heck don't know." I said, making sure not to curse around my siblings.

"Don't play dumb, Kenzie." He shook his head at me... Looking.. Disgusted with me?

"Play dumb? Austin, I have no idea what you're talki-" He cut me off mid-sentence.

"Are you sure about that?!" He yelled, making me jump. I looked over at the kids, seeing that they weren't really scared, but they were paying attention to Austin and me.

I stood up. "Please.. Calm down. And explain." I said.

"Calm down." He let out a harsh laugh. "You want me to calm down? Look at this." He growled, holding his phone out for me. I took it. It was his texts.

"Why am I looking at your texts?" I asked.

"Read them." He angrily tugged at his hair. So I did.

"Oh my.." I said softly. It was all about people texting Austin things like, 'You're a singer?!' or texting him some of his videos.

"Yea." He nodded, angrily.

"And.. You think that this.. Was me?" I asked.

"Who else would it be?" He growled. I was shocked. I have never seen this side of Austin.

"It wasn't.. Me." I said. He scoffed.

"Kenzie, who else would it be? Huh? My friends have been there from the beginning, and they begged me to make that account, and sing. I know that it wasn't them. But, how come you find out my secret, and then everyone in the whole damn school finds out, huh?" He snaps.

"Austin, I promise! I wasn't me!" I exclaimed. He rolled his eyes.

"And on top of you telling everyone my secret, you lie about it, too. Nice." He shook his head at me, snatched his phone away, and stormed out of my room, slamming my door behind me. Soon after, I heard the door of the guest room next to Jason's room slam shut. I sighed as a tear escaped my eye.

"Bubby, you okay?" Jazzy used her nickname for me.

"Yea.." I wiped my tears. "I'm fine, Jazzy." I smiled at her.

I sat down next to them and pointed at the t.v.. "Look at Spongebob." I smiled, and they did.

Then I got a text. Great, to add on top of this mess.
