Day 2:

Fionna woke up early in the morning to see that the campground was absent of a certain vampire. She let out a yawn, stretching out her aching body. The little romantic moment with Marshall last night kept repeating over and over in her head. She blushed at the very thought of it, and she hoped that he really did like her.

Unfortunately she couldn't ask him, because he was off somewhere, but once he came back she would make sure to sort it out with him. Fionna yawned once again, and decided to get a tad bit more rest. She closed her eyes, and snuggled into her covers.

"Good morning little human." crooned a chilling voice.

Fionna sat up, and was met with a terrifying figure. She let out a scream, and fell backwards. The figure in front of her gave her a toothy smile. It had long black licorice hair, blank white eyes, and it's body was covered patches of white and black.

"Aww is the little hero scared?"

"Who-who are y-you" she croaked. T

he figure let out a laugh that sounded like a dying cat. "My, my Gumball must of never told you about me, his little.... failed experiment."

"W-what?"

"Yes, I was once human until Gummy took me in and ruined me, I am now known as Licorice Lass." she said in a distasteful tone.

Fionna tried to move, but she found that she was somehow frozen in place. She cried out, but her voice wouldn't come it was stuck. Licorice Lass glided forward, and started to pet the blonde's hair.

"Shush little one, I am going to offer you a once in a life time opportunity." she rasped.

Fionna shuddered.

"I am offering you a job, if you come with me you can become like me, immortal, powerful stronger! You can shed your weak human body, and get anything you want."

Fionna felt her voice come back "No never, I have things to do, and-and people that I care about!"

The monster in front of her frowned "Inconsiderate fool, you need to see this is for best, I am the next form of humans!"

"No your not, your a monster!" Fionna cried.

"You bitch, you have nothing to live for, that stupid Vampire King doesn't truly love you  he's just playing you."

"That's not true, he's always been there for me, your full of lies!" Fionna seethed.

Licorice Lass chuckled, and she dragged her sharp black fingernails across Fionna's cheeks. She drew lines of crimson blood making Fionna wince.

"You are young and naive, all I want to do is preserve you.  For you see, me and you are the same!"

Fionna spat at her face, and let out a low growl.

Licorice Lass just rolled her eyes "Puny human I was in the same position as you; I was the hero of the candy kingdom, in love with people who never really loved me, and abandoned by my human family."

"Lies, there are no tales or pictures of you, plus a hero never strays from the good side!"

"Your quite a stubborn one, but that's no matter I can get you on my side."

"W-what do you mean?" Fionna said quivering.

Licorice Lass smirked and reached towards her head, Fionna tried to jerk backwards, but it was no use. The evil monster touched forehead, and her pale hand glowed a deep black. Fionna started to see black spots, and her senses became even more sluggish. Immense pain waved over her body, and she let out a silent scream.

Slowly she felt her grip on the world begin to fade, and the last thing she heard was the cold laughs of Licorice Lass.

Marshall's Location: Looking for more red

Marshall was currently floating throughout the forest close to the campground looking for more red. He had checked the supply, but he didn't seem to have enough to last him for the next five days to the garden. He had smelled some red near here, but he couldn't find anything yet. The setting was  just a mix of greens, browns, and oranges. He groaned in frustration, all he wanted to do was be back with Fionna.

Last night was still playing in his head like a movie. It repeated over and over in his mind, and the very thought brought joy to him. He hoped that it wasn't just a fluke, and that something could really start from it. Alas he knew that the human was a bit tedious on the topic of love, and might just play it off as nothing. But then again why did she kiss him back? He drowsily floated around letting his thoughts entertain him.

All of a sudden the mouth watering smell of berries hit him. He floated around faster, and gripped his umbrella. His stomach rumbled, and he quickly went to pick them. After he grabbed a respectable amount he decided to head back. Once he got back to the camp site he was met with a horrific sight.

The whole area was trashed, the air lingered with dark magic, and there was the pungent smell of blood. Fionna's blood to be exact. Marshall's body filled with panic, and he started to shout Fionna's name.

"Fionna, Fionna where are you! This isn't a joke come on out!" he cried.

His cries were met with a echoing silence. He fell to the ground, and  hot tears slowly slid down his face. His bunny... his sunlight was gone. It was all his faults if he had waited to get food, she would still be here. He stood up, and wiped away his tears.

He was going to find her, no matter what...
