Hopes pov-

The cops took me to the hospital and when I got there mia already had a room. They told me the room and I went there. I walked in her room and seen her laying on the bed. She was still unconscious. She must of hit her head hard. I was standing at the end of her bed watching the machine they had her hooked up on.

"Hope?" I heard from the door. I looked up quickly and seen Carter.

"Ya?" I asked looking back at the machine.

"What are you doi-" I cut him off.
"I'm here with mia what does it look like?" I said louder than I wanted to.

"Sorry. " he said.

"What are you doing here?" I asked.

"Here to see Mia.." he said.

"Oh" I said still looking at the machine.

"Her dad was on the news." He said.

I was now tapping my finger on the chair and tapping my foot on the floor trying to control my anger at her father.

"Ya I know" I said.

"I can't belie-"

"CAN WE JUST SIT HERE IN SILENCE!?" I yelled on accident. Carter just sat there and looked at me.

"Sorr-" I started to say but he cut me off.
"Don't be sorry. I know this is hard" he said. I nodded.

Me and Carter stayed there for a while then me and Carter went to get something to eat.

We never left the hospital we just went to the cafeteria. After we finished eating we went back to mia's room.

Tons of doctor's were in her room.

"WHAT HAPPENED!?" I said trying to get through the doctors. One of them had to hold me back with Carter. They calmed me down and got me out of the room. I sat on the floor against the wall with Carter.

"To many things happen when you leave for 15 minutes." I whispered. Carter looked over at me and I looked at him.

"What you mean?" He asked.

"What's going on in there. None of us know. The only ones that know are the doctors." I said then sighed. Carter looked back at the door.

A doctor came out right after I stopped talking.

"We are sorry." He said looking down.
