Percy - Second Person Pov.
As Percy woke up, he noticed that he wasn't where he normally is. He wasn't in his cell, but in a well taken care of room. A room with actual furniture and Percy also smelled something new. But it was sweet, and not sour.
"And he child awakes." Percy looked up to a smiling Kronos.
"Hi," Percy says, with hardly any sound.
Kronos sighs and puts his feet on the little bedside table next to Percy's bed. he bed Percy was sleeping in was white with dark blue trim. It was very soft, Percy noted.
"Are you ready for another day?" Kronos asks, a little less friendly since he must have saw that Percy wasn't really paying attention.
"Percy?" Kronos snaps.
"What?" Percy stiffens, guessing that today is going to be a little worse then most days.
"Okay," Kronos announces. "Come in. I think it's time now."
Percy looked over to one of the three doors in the room. As it opened, Percy noticed one figure step in.
"Kronos," the figure mock bows.
"Oceanus," Kronos greets coldly.
"You called?" he asks sheepishly.
"Get everything ready. Today's going to be a long one for Percy." Kronos moves his gaze back to Percy. "What do you think we should learn today? Loyalties?"
Oceanus chuckled. "That'll be a good one for him."
Kronos stood up and picked Percy up. But it wasn't gentle like the day before when he was cradling him.
Kronos walked over to a big platform that was obviously glowing power. Percy knew that presence. It was one that he'd only faces once before.
"The power of Tartarus," Percy breathed.
"Yes," Kronos nodded happily. "And do you know what "the power of Tartarus" can do?"
Percy was silent.
"This platform will make you mortal until your loyalties take place," Kronos admitted. "I was kind of hoping that this could wait a little while longer-" Kronos throws a quick glance at Oceanus "-but it seems that Oceanus thinks that you're ready."
Percy was thrown forward onto the platform. As he landed, everyone heard a sickening crunch. Probably made from the notice of Percy's ribs breaking.
Oceanus strutted over to Percy and tied him up against the wall. He picked up two shackles-that were slightly bigger than the ones they used before-and pinned Percy's arms against the wall. But like the way he was picked up, it was forcefully.
"You think that will hold him?" Oceanus taunts.
"Yeah, no lower him," Kronos orders.
Oceanus hit a lever with his foot, and Percy was falling again.
It wasn't very far, but it was enough to hurt. Percy hit the bottom and two figures came in.
Percy recognized Hyperion, but the other figure was cloaked. He was taller then Kronos and the others, and he also seemed a lot more powerful.
When he spoke, he had a deep voice. "Why so soon, Oceanus?"
Then I realized that this man in the dark cloak was Tartarus.
The next thing Percy knew was pain. Percy felt it flowing through my body, erasing whatever it didn't want. Percy looked down and realized that his blood and veins were turning purplish black.
