I watched as my beautiful grandson screamed. I felt a little bit bad for him, but I'm an evil being, so pity is not allowed! Well, maybe just a little bit...bah! What am I saying?!
Anyways, looking at him twitching and screaming in the contraption, I felt a sense of remorse and regret, but also pleasure and satisfaction. Wow, I'm a really messed up, twisted person! Or immortal...or being...ugh! Whatever...
Perseus' veins have started turning black as poison raced through his system. It's a very rare and deadly poison. It is supposed to cause tremendous pain and against by tearing the soul apart piece by piece. Of course, we have the antidote. We will administer it to him just as it reaches his heart so that his soul is put back together but does not remember what has happened to him and he will not know who he is loyal to. That way, we can make him loyal to us! Personal loyalty, what a flaw! Precious and beautiful, but fatal, deadly.
The poison is traveling dangerously fast and I must keep an eye on him so that the antidote is administered on time.
"Oceanus, get out the antidote."
I hear rustling, then a sharp intake of breath.
"My lord...it is missing..."
"Missing?! Well, then hurry and find it! Assemble your best team! Hyperion go with him!"
"Yes, sir!"
They now to me then turn and bow to Lord Tartarus and finally scurry out of the room.
"My Lord Tartarus, what will we do if they cannot find it?"
"We will have to hope they do, because I do not want to have to resort to Plan D."
I sigh and turn my attention back towards Perseus. Something grabs my attention and I gasp.
"My Lord...look..."
The poison had stopped and had just been about to reach his heart. It was pulsing, and slowly retreating, but Perseus was shrinking. No...not shrinking...getting younger.
"What is happening to him, My Lord?"
"His subconscious is fighting the poison, but by doing so, he is de-aging, and if the antidote is not found soon, he might de-age out of existence..."
"My Lord, I'm afraid we might have to resort to Plan D..."
