Jason's Pov. / Present
As Jason walked away, he felt better. It wasn't natural for him to feel this way, and he didn't even know what happened. He just knew that something happened, and he was part of it.
When he got to the Throne Room of the gods, he felt murderous. It was like he was weakening. Then his mind cleared, and all of the fog lifted. When Jason walked into the Throne Room, he found all of the gods talking.
But when they saw him, they started whispering in hushed tones while taking short, quick, glances at him. As Jason made his way to the middle of the room, all talking immediately stopped. It was like everyone else's minds and feelings had cleared too. After a few moments of silence, the gods started to glow.
And for once, Jason felt at peace, no, he wasn't dead, but simply at peace.
Once Jason woke, he knew he was still on Olympus somehow. He just had a feeling, and yet, he knew it was true. Jason got tired of waiting for someone to come get him, so he got up and walked away.
When he opened the Throne Room doors, to go out into the street, he didn't expect what he saw. The whole city of Olympus was in chaos. And right in the middle, was Annabeth, with a gruesome smile on her face, a fallen citizen at her feet, and a bloody dagger in her hand.
At that same exact moment, all of the gods appeared, (just the major). They look between Annabeth and I, trying to figure out what's happening.
I just stare at Annabeth, waiting for some answers, but she seems to be staring right back at me.
"What is the meaning of this?!" Zeus thunders.
Annabeth and I just shook our heads, and they must have took the hint.
"Everyone inside, now!" Hera shouts, snaps her fingers and we're all gone.
As we all reappeared in the Throne Room, I noticed that some of the other demigods from Camp Jupiter and Camp Half-Blood were there too.
"What is going on?!" Zeus booms, clearly baffled.
I looked at Annabeth, and could see that she was thinking. How can she just stand there, like she didn't know what happened?!
"I-I," Annabeth started. "I... I really don't know what happened..."
Athena was glowering down at her, calculating, trying to figure out if she was lying or speaking the truth. I really wanted to believe her, but I just found it really hard. Slowly but surely, Athena raised her hand like a middle schooler.
