3rd person
Dianite had left the door closed and he looked so stressed.
"I'm sorry...*Sigh* but Ianite is not going to make it.
Tucker looked grim, Sonja looked like she was going to cry, Tom even had unshed tears in his eyes. Wag had already broken down and Jordan was so shocked he couldn't even cry. Jordan just stared at the door, his face blank. Dianite sat down and put his head in his hands.
"Only one person can go in." Dianite said to the group.
"Sonja is about to cry, Wag has already broken down, I am helping comfort Sonja and Wag. That leaves Tom and Jordan." Tucker reasoned.
"Jordan is her lover so he should go in." Tom said.
Jordan looked blankly at his friends. They nodded in encouragment. Jordan walked in and closed the door slightly. Ianite was laying on the bed. As soon as she saw Jordan she tried to sit up Jordan stopped her and let her back down. Jordan sat on a chair next to her bed. Ianite smiled weakly at Jordan.
"Can you sing to me?" Ianite asked.
"But I am horrible at singing." Jordan replied.
"Please?" Ianite asks.
"Okay." Jordan says, thinking of a song to sing.
Jordan thinks of a song that is perfect. The others were listening from the other room listening to Jordan sing for Ianite.
I remember tears streaming down your face

When all those shadows almost killed your light
I remember you said, "Don't leave me here alone"
But all that's dead and gone and passed tonight
"And you said you couldn't sing." Ianite teased, tears streaming down her face.
"I will never let you go." Jordan says. The others just looked at each other, smiling sadly.
Just close your eyes

Ianite relaxed, laying further down in the bed, Jordan holding her hand. Ianite went to look out the window but Jordan covered her eyes and set her face back at his. The others closed their eyes and listened, swaying.

The war outside our door keeps raging on

Even when the music's gone
Gone
Ianite settled back down and looked at Jordan's face as he sang, swaying with the music. Sonja and Wag resisted the urge to look outside.

Ianite closed her eyes, sighing.

Ianite's hand slipped away from Jordan's and fell in his lap. Jordan opened his eyes and looked at Ianite already knowing what happened. He still put his head to her chest, checking for a heartbeat. There wasn't one and he took the sheets and covered her body. He then walked out, tears forming in his eyes. He came out and stared blankly at the others, tears starting to run down his face. Jordan just hangs his head and the others surround him in a big group hug. He starts sobbing saying that it wasn't her time to die. She wasn't supossed to die.
"If only I had been a better champion and saved her from Botan, would she still be alive." Jordan blamed himself.
The others told him it wasn't his fault. It wasn't supposed to happen this way. Ianite will always be remembered in our hearts the others told him. Stay strong for her.
