Chapter 10: Customs

Hanna's P.O.V.

-The next day-

This morning Josh and I got ready and I put on my blue flowy dress, cardigan, heels and grabbed my white clutch. Josh wore black skinny jeans, a red shirt and black and white converse, my favorite outfit on him.

"Hey babe, do you wanna go see a movie today? I don't care which one." He said as he tied up his converse'.
"Sounds great!" I say as we walk out the door and to my car. We drive to the movie theatre, find a parking spot, get our tickets and go in.
"I'm gonna go get some food, want anything?" I ask.
"Beef jerky?" He says and I laugh.
"Yeah okay. I don't know if they sell beef jerky at movie theatres though." I say and I walk toward the food and smell of popcorn.

I grab the food and walk back to our seats. Josh is twiddling his thumbs and shaking his leg.
"Hey" I say and hand him his beef jerky.
"Wow, they had some?" He chuckled and looked at me.
"Yeah I guess so!" I said "I got us a Coke Zero to share and also some popcorn"
"Great, thanks babe" he says as he kisses my cheek.

The commercials start and we both simultaneously groan at the amount of them. We look at each other and smile. God, he makes me feel so good.

Josh takes my hand and kisses it, I blush and kiss his cheek. He's the cutest.

Halfway through the movie I lean my head on Josh's shoulder and he rubs my shoulder. The movie gets boring so we start to make out. There is barely anyone in the theatre, probably about seven other people and they are all sitting way far away from us in the front.

I put my hands on his neck and he puts his in my hair. I can feel his tongue piercing in my mouth. This time I bite his lip and he pulls away.

"Wow" he says.
"What?" I say.
"That was freakin hot" he whispers and we continue.

He starts to kiss my neck and I let out a quiet yelp. He giggles and I do the same to him. I decide to get up and sit on his lap instead. I curl up on top of him and he wraps his arms around me.

"I love you" I say.
"I love you too" he says as we kiss again.

He pulls away and grabs something out of his pocket, I can barely see it but it looks like a necklace chain.

"What's that?" I ask.
"Just wait" he says and takes his ring off that I see him wear a lot.

He loops the chain into the ring and puts it around my neck.

"It's for you" he says and smiles "I know it's totally old fashioned to give you a gift when we start dating but I felt like this was the time in our relationship that this would happen so I figured..." He trailed off.
"I love it" I whisper into his ear and kiss his cheek.

The rest of the movie we cuddle and I fiddle with the necklace around my neck, sure it was old fashioned but I've always loved some of the old customs of dating back then, this being one of them.
