"Uh, okay but it is a bit awkward , you know, I mean it's going to be something new, so..." I dropped my eyes to the ground. Admitting my fears aloud was hard enough.

"Oh, I know you are gonna kill it. You're brave and upfront and really friendly, so there is actually nothing to be worried about." Arush comforted me.

Well, he's been on that for 2 hours now, but without any outcome, I was on a freak out session and nothing he said was going to calm me now.

Before you people feel puzzled, here is the flashback, then you would get more than one reason for my freaking out.

Flashback ~~

Today, when I got up, I saw hot chocolate and choco chip cookies placed on the bedside table, a note attached to the glass of water that said,
Drink the water first, I know , chocolate thingies are hard to resist, but you need to hydrate yourself first ;)
And, come down asap, I'm waiting ;)

Okay, now I was grinning from ear to ear, but somehow I managed my body to get off the bed and freshen up.

After half an hour, I was good to go.
As soon as the divan came in view, I saw Arush bend over something on the table, with his back to me.
I slowly tiptoe-d and stood behind him to get a look at what was in front of him, so I looked over his shoulder and saw a boy 4 or 5 years old, who most probably was Arush , holding a cute girl in his arms and smiling fondly at the baby girl.

"Is that your sister?" I couldn't help but blurt out.

He got startled and spun around.

"Whoa! You scared the hell out of me".
Then he breathed out heavily and tried to calm his nerves, I grinned sheepishly at him and crossed the divan and sat down beside him, "I'm sorry, I didn't think, that ..."

"I know, it's okay", he let out a shaky laugh.

"Umm, hey, thanks for the yummy breakfast, and the note was too cute", I knelt forward and pecked his cheek, and immediately blushed, because he sat there, all flustered and still.

Okay, he wasn't expecting that.
I maybe overdid it. Now his scarletness turned me pink too.
We both sat there in an uncomfortable silence for a while, and would have remained like that until god sent some archangel to move us, but maybe he did as right then Martha walked in, with some delicacies in her hand.

"Young master, dear, have this, will you?"

I at once made my way towards her and grabbed the plate, "Thank you so much, you are a life saver", the last part obviously for only her ears.

"Anytime." She smiled and left us.

I had coped up with my momentary tomato-ness, so I took in a long breath and advanced to where Arush sat.

"Here". I picked up two of them and handed over the plate to him, he cautiously took it from me and said, "Yeah, thanks."

I sat down beside him again, well there was no other place to sit, but kept a respectable distance, to avoid any awkward moments further.

"So..." I began.

"So, yeah, uh..well, uh..yes, for the starters, that was my sister in the picture."
